Absolutely perfect. The entire experience was warm and welcoming. I’d personally like to thank Annette for making my stay wonderful from check-in to check-out. The villas were splendid. Service was amazing. I enjoyed every moment.

Where to start!? The building and property are gorgeous! The food was amazing, I don’t know who the chef is, but the hotel picked a good one! The dinner and a show on our last night was crazy! We couldn’t have asked for a better end to our Tanzanian adventure! So relaxing after 2 weeks in Dar.

David, the manager was super attentive, even in the 36° heat, just running around getting things done! He was always asking if we needed anything!

Omar was the best server! Super quick and at some time almost seemed like he was reading my mind and knew I wanted another beer! Cheers to you Omar!

Let me tell you about this hotel manager I met in Le Mersenne Zanzibar. Her name is Lilian she’s absolutely incredible! The manager had such a warm and friendly personality. She went above and beyond to ensure that all the guests were comfortable and satisfied. She was always available to address any concerns or requests, and she made sure that everything was running smoothly. It was truly a pleasure to interact with such a fantastic hotel manager. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you're looking for a place with an amazing manager! 😊👍

Gorgeous hotel on the east coast of Zanzibar !
Rooms are amazing, especially the ones with ocean views, very modern and spacious ! Breakfast is top and the bar is a must do, located on a bungalow over the ocean, serving Tanzanian beers and great cocktails.

The location of the hotel is a big plus, 10 min drive from the famous The Rock Restaurant and there are beautiful beaches all around the resort.

Plenty of activities are available at the hotel. My partner and I went for the snorkeling and starfish beach on a typical wood boat and had an unforgettable experience !

I had an amazing stay at the resort. Spacious rooms, beautiful ocean views that gives you amazing pictures, good food especially with their buffets. I had lots of fun with the tours and oh not forgetting the friendly staff with great customer service. I really made memories at this resort and i received a gift on departure. Will definitely recommend to others

We had an amazing 5 nights here, the stay was perfect. The food was amazing, we ate at the restaurant multiple times during our stay.

The service was fantastic, definitely the highlight of our trip, the ladies at the front desk made sure we had everything we needed. Even going beyond that to make sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. Special shout-out to Kadogo and Lillian. They took care of us the entire way.

Nice hotel with great pool. Overall a Goode experience.
À few point s to improve : a lot of rust and dirty Vmc in the public toilets.
F&b was good with great service and good food. Great breakfast choice. Again service for breakfast was slow and we received the hot drinks once we finnished breakfast.
Room was great and spacious.

Beautiful holiday in a wonderful place. The rooms are kept in perfect working order and cleanliness. The staff always friendly and courteous. A special thanks to LILIAN an Angel of sweetness, courtesy and professionalism at the same time He made us all feel at home.

great stay!! If I come back to Zanzibar I would stay here again. The rooms are kept in great shape, super clean. All the things you need. Good Wi-Fi. All the staff is so lovely (Magreth at the pool, Raymond, Emmanuel, Chris the driver) the resort is very pristine. The pool is so clean and nice. Beautiful pool. The location is beach front but not really to be used since it's rocky. So mainly the pool. Cannot say enough nice things. The lobby staff is very helpful and can set up taxis and anything you need. Lovely spa staff. The rooms are very large and spacious. 10/10

Zanzibar has many beautiful hotels and resorts, but what differentiates Le Mersenne from the rest, is the people. Truly, the epitome of Zanzibari hospitality. I was terribly unwell during one of the days I spent over there, and a very kind gentleman called Raymond from the F&B department, went out of his way to ensure I was OK. I can not thank him enough.The team at Le Mersenne in general, I noted, go over and beyond, to ensure their guests are comfortable and their needs are met. The resort itself, is beautiful, located in a quieter part of Zanzibar, and in my opinion, a lot nicer than the busy Nungwi beach area. I highly recommend this hotel. Definitely worth a visit! :-)

Beautiful Hotel. Very close to the Rock restaurant and Blue Lagoon and great nightlife not too far away. The staff were also incredible. The Manageress Anne Marie was super friendly and super helpful! Infact she made our stay all the more better.

Le Mersenne was one of my favorite Hotel in Zanzibar but First I’m gonna start with Ms.Lilian super friendly and very professional manager, love the way she took care of things, with a “no worries let them know and they’ll take care of you,” just by the way she gave them eye contact they knew what to do, lol.
Raymond was one of the bartenders omg the best of the best, too professional and friendly i had to leave him some of my outfits cause it was a nice complement every day super cool young man hope to see him as a supervisor when I come back keep doing your thing Raymond.

An excellent option on the far side of Zanzibar. Great hospitality and the rooms were outstanding. We enjoyed the breakfast options and the evening entertainment at the deck. The private beach has white sand with a beautiful view of the Blue Lagoon and fantastic sunrises!

My husband and I stayed for about a week at Le Mersenne for our honeymoon. Our experience was amazing! The staff went above and beyond for our entire stay. We appreciated that there was daily cleaning for our room and the private pool. We loved staying here and will be back for our anniversaries! It was definitely a paradise and we have adopted hakuna matata back home ☺

Very polite and ready to help. we were able to communicate well. Their customer service was top notch. the hotel is so beautiful and variety of food in their buffet especially breakfast was amazing. Their wifi is just the best all through the establishment. I had a good time here for sure. loved my villa.

My husband and I spent holiday at Le Mersenne Beach Resort in May 2023. We had the absolute best time. The resort was beautiful, the people were wonderful, and we truly enjoyed the food! Such an amazing experience. We couldn’t recommend this resort more! Such a special place. We had an amazing snorkeling experience with the Le Mersenne captain also. We highly recommend a stay here!

My wife and I had the most incredible honeymoon at Le Mersenne hotel. From the moment we checked in with the lovely Lillian, we knew we were in for a treat. The service team, including Godlisten, Khamisi, Zuhur, Juma, Rafael internship, Raymond, Elise, Clementine, and Florence, went above and beyond to make our stay special and memorable. They were attentive, friendly, and made us feel like royalty. Every interaction with them was filled with warmth, fun, and laughter. What can I say about this hotel? Amazing, wonderful, excellent place. We had wonderful time at this place, everything was great: the food, the services, the very friendly staff, and their amazing manager Mr. Michael Solaiman. They took of everything for us. The food so yummy and the beach is a wonderful beach. And it’s quiet place, I liked that so much and there is a spa also but no ladies saloon. I strongly recommend it to you. And sure I am going back to stay there.
