LOOK NO FURTHER!!!! Shiri Adventures does it all! My husband and I were lucky enough to book with Shiri Adventures for my 30th birthday! Little did I know Shiri Adventures had some surprises along the way, including upgrading our accommodations.. not only once but TWICE to 5 star lodges! Not only did we receive upgrades, but on my birthday the safari lodge in the Serengeti where we stayed made a special treat for me and put on an amazing performance! Our gorilla trek in Uganda was planned to perfection and our Safari in Tanzania was an absolute dream, thanks to Ibrahim! Thank you, Shiri!!

We found shiri through a travel blogger Amanda Wanders via social media. When we began researching our Tanzania/Zanzibar honeymoon Africa trip we were nervous as we were not utilizing a US travel agent and chose to select Shiri just based on reviews of others. This company has gone above and beyond our expectations and created the most incredible experience for us.

Linus responded to our messages day or night so quickly and made every effort to make sure we were taken care of. Being so far from home this made us feel safe and taken care of while in Africa. We made changes to our itinerary while in Africa due to not enjoying the tented lodge experience and Linus was right on it getting us to where we wanted to be so we could enjoy our trip!

Our safari guide Francis was incredible. We had no idea how wrong you could go in this area (some guides get lost because they are new, their cars break down, they are late, these are all possible on the safari) but our guide with Shiri was a professional. Always on time, always friendly and ready to go with a smile. He navigated the parks like a pro. We were lucky enough to see the big 5 and he was great company for the long car rides! Plus our trip was private just us 2 and they printed custom honeymoon jeep tire covers for us. So personal and made us so happy!

The entire shiri team is incredible. Cannot say enough great things. We are forever grateful for this experience!

My wife and I recently embarked on a safari adventure to Tanzania for our honeymoon, and it was nothing short of amazing! Our safari experience was made even more incredible by our fantastic guide, Francis, and our stay at the Tanganyika lodges.

From the moment we arrived, we were in awe of the natural beauty and wildlife of this stunning country. Francis, our knowledgeable guide, played a big part in making our journey unforgettable. He was not only friendly and approachable but also a true expert when it came to the local wildlife. We were amazed at his ability to spot animals from a distance and share fascinating insights about their behavior and habitat. Francis knew where to go and when to find the animals, ensuring that we had incredible sightings on every game drive. He was always very patient with us when we wanted to take pictures and in answering our questions.

Our stay at the Tanganyika lodges was an experience in itself. These lodges are not just places to sleep but cozy, comfortable havens surrounded by the untamed wilderness. The lodges were well-maintained, providing all the amenities we needed for a relaxing stay. The food was absolutely delicious, and we relished the opportunity to savor local dishes and flavors.

Shiri was always very quick to respond to any messages, no matter what time, and he made sure we were having a great experience. As it was our honeymoon, they presented us with a tire cover featuring one of our wedding pictures. This unique gesture added a special touch to our trip. It was incredibly fun to have fellow travelers and even some of the other guides taking pictures of us and offering their congratulations.

In summary, our honeymoon safari in Tanzania was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that we'll cherish forever. Francis, our extraordinary guide, made sure we made the most of every moment, and the Tanganyika lodges provided us with a comfortable and welcoming base to explore the incredible African wilderness. We wholeheartedly recommend this safari and lodge experience to anyone seeking a memorable and unforgettable adventure. I was climbing Kilimanjaro last year with 4 friends.
I have been on many expeditions in my life but this one beats every single one by a mile. The dedication and profesionalism second to none. The guides are smart, knowledgeable and great guys overall. The entire supporting crew is taking care of you but it the same time you feel like they are part of the team. From first online communication, through pre expedition preparation, climbing and finishing with the after party everything was on point. Considering the cost of the park fees included in the package the cost of the expedition is ridiculously low. Tip them well please- best money I ever spent.

Me and a friend did a 6-day deluxe Tanzania safari (Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Manyara). The communication with Linus went effortlessly and he was always quick to respond. We also added a visit to the Masaai tribe (which lasted an hour or so). This was a nice add-on to learn about the the indigenious way of living. We spent the 1st night at a hotel in Arusha and the other days in lodges and tented camp. Everything was so well organized and wherever we went we were always welcomed with a smile. Tanzanian people in overall are really kind. Our safari trip was amazing and definitely a once in a lifetime experience. We have seen the migration crossing which was such a big highlight of my trip. Because of our guide's (Marick) experience and patience we were able to see so many wild creatures. Just like that we could already check off the big 5 on our 2nd day, with the black rhino as the last one, which was at the end of the day on our way to camp! We have witnessed some beautiful sunrises, one just from a hill not so far from our camp. The food, OMG, was so delicious. We did a bush lunch in the Serengeti which was amazing. And we have received a Shiri adventures T-shirt which is really cool! Props to Shiri adventures for organizing our unforgettable safari trip!

Me and my wife spend our honeymoon on safari (Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire and Manyara) with Shiri Adventures and I can say that it was the best experience!

We didn't have a single complaint. From communication with mr. Linus, who responded quickly to all our questions and concerns (via WhatsApp or email), to the entire organization of Safari, transfers to airport, luxury lodges in national parks… Also, on our safari jeep they put our wedding photo - nice personal touch :)

Our guide (mr. Ibra) was an exceptional at finding animals that we could see from a distance of only a few meters! He taught us about animals, their behavior and the habitats they live in, about the natives Maasai (which we also visited), about land Africa and Tanzania... Really experienced guide!

We would recommend Shiri Adventures 10/10. These guys are on another level! :)

My husband and I went on a honeymoon to a safari with Shiri adventures. We did a 4 day safari tour (Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Manyara) and it was amazing. Firstly, I would like to mention communication with Linus. He always responded quickly and made our safari experience unforgettable. I would also like to mention our safari guide Ibra, who is just an expert. He has a sharp eye for all the animals, and also knows everything regarding safari life. We saw the big 5, which tells how good, experienced and patient was our guide. We also visited a Maasai village and camped in a lodge in the middle of Serengeti. Everything was well organized and the food was amazing. Thank you Linus and Shiri adventures for making our honeymoon so amazing. We will never forget it! 🤗

On our first trip after Covid 19, my fiance and I we did a 5 days safari and Magoroto Forest 3 days trip with Shiri Adventures, with most of our time spent in the Serengeti and tranquil Magoroto.
From the start up to the last day, we didn't have to worry about anything other than enjoying the amazing wildlife and scenery of Tanzania's northern parks and its beauty. Our guide, Joseph, was knowledgeable, friendly and reliable and great company for our safari, and we enjoyed every second spent together with him. Safety was key and was maintained from start to the end, from the lodges, hotels and everywhere we went.

Everything was incredible, without forgetting the lodges we stayed at, Kudu in Ngorongoro and Embalakai while in Serengeti, the meals, and the entire experience was definitely the trip of a lifetime. For us, after long periods of travel restrictions, we really needed this , the trip was by far the best time and experience we have had in a while, and it was totally worth every single penny and we'd do it again in a heartbeat!

During our time in Magoroto we were joined by other groups and Shiri Adventures staff members, Lucas, Marry and Richard who were there for a weekend getaway. There was so much energy in the group and the group was vibing sooooo!!!! We had lots of fun boat riding, swimming, hiking, cycling, most importantly the nights were crazy, super energetic. We made new friends in the group as majority shared the same passion for travel like us, wanderlusts. I recall we danced past midnight with the rest of the groups and by our surprise Shiri Adventures had their photographer, Mrope capturing all the best and funniest moments during the trip, which I think was too perfect for a photogenic like me. And they sent us the pictures and the video compilation at the end of the trip, it was a beauty and way out of my expectations. We loved every single moment captured, they even managed to use our favorite song as the soundtrack in the video. Massive thanks to the Shiri Adventures team, Mrope the photographer. Highly recommended, looking forward to another Ultimate Experience in the near future.

My fiancé and I just finished a 9 day safari with Shiri Adventures and it was the best 9 days of my life!

Shiri are a local company and we wanted to support local Tanzanians.

Shiri were super flexible with date changes. The accomodations organised by Shiri were fantastic. My personal favourites were the Tarangire Sopa Lodge and Kudu Lodge.

We were lucky enough to have Ibrahim as our guide. He had a sixth sense for when and where to look for specific species, and his spotting skills are incredible. He knew all the best spots that seemingly the other guides didn’t. There were so many times we had incredible experiences all to ourselves.

Ibrahim was a great driver, keeping us safe and comfortable for the longer days. He also knew his way around an engine. One time we pulled over so he could help another guide restart his car. It was great to know that we wouldn’t have to worry.

Ibrahim was patient with my photography and made every effort to move the car to help me get me a clear shot. As a result I have so many photos that I love.

The respect for the animals was admirable also. We moved out of the way to let them cross roads when necessary and every effort was made to not interfere with them. As nature lovers this was important to us and was great to see.

Ibrahim was a genuinely nice and funny person to hang out with. It’s critical you have enjoy your time with your guide, otherwise it could be a long week and a half in the car! I’ve spoken to somebody else about their experience with Shiri who had a different guide, and she raved about him too! It seems to me that Shiri’s guide standards are higher than most companies.

The only thing I would change if I go againis to opt for the cultural centre and either museums or art galleries in Arusha rather than the market tour and Naparu waterfalls on day 1.

Communication with Shiri was great throughout the trip, so if you are like me and prefer learning about a country’s history and culture in a relaxed environment rather than markets, let Shiri know what you’d rather do and they can adjust the Arusha day for you. You’re not missing out on the waterfall as there is a better one on the Arusha NP walking tour (which is awesome!).

If you are thinking about going on safari, do it! And 100% definitely do it with Shiri!

We chose Shiri among plenty of other options because of 2 main points: Linus was so fast in answering all our questions, so flexible and patient to accommodate us in everything.
We did a 6 days safari through Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and they also organized us a last local experience, that included a bike tour around Lake manyara, a visit to a local banana plantation, a stop at a local bar to try the banana beer, and plenty of information on the village we were in. About the safari, the car was perfect, the guide (Laurent) was just soo soo amazing, and we miss him already. He managed to let us not only see, but EXPERIENCE the animals:we had an amazing sights of a herd of elephants covering themself in mud a few meters from our car (it was magical), we saw amazing leopards, we saw 8 small lion cubs playing with each other, and so much more. But I want to also spend a word about the lunches. Whenever we were stopping for lunch I was looking around, and saw that all other companies only provided the lunch boxes. We were amazed to see the amount of food, the high level, and the attention for details Laurent put preparing the table for us at every lunch. One of the lunches was in the middle of nowhere, in the serengeti, with a view that we will not forget. I cannot recommend Shiri Adventures more. They are now a major player in what is so far one of the best experiences in our life. Thanks again Linus, Laurent and Shiri Adventures!

We did 8 days Northern Circuit trek to Kilimanjaro and 3 days safari in Serengeti afterwards. During all times the food, guides and all crew were truly amazing. The best though was the ability to adapt to our needs and circumstances (one of our bags was delayed for 4 days..). Truly recommend!

My wife and i went on our honeymoon with Shiri adventures, after literally months of research, looking at 20+ different safari companies. We could not be happier with the experience and the value we received after booking with Shiri! It is extremely stressful travelling from Canada and booking something across the world, but Linus was so available and responsive that we felt assured the whole way through, he even picked us up directly from the airport and shared a wealth of knowledge about Tanzania and what we should expect on our trip. Linus's welcome energy and friendly demeanor was matched (surpassed, even), by our tour guide, Kepha. Kepha was a blast to hang out with from the very start of our trip, making every leg an adventure, and sharing lots of laughs with us throughout. Can't say enough good things about Kepha. There wasn't a question about the flora and fauna, the culture, the language, literally anything, that he didnt have the answer to.

Every step of the way Shiri went above and beyond what they promised to deliver. It is very stressful picking a safari company to go with, but I can promise you that Shiri is extremely honest, trustworthy, and delivers the best possible experience you can find. Thank you Linus, thank you Kepha!!!!

We just had the most incredible 9 day safari with Shiri Adventures! A local Tanzanian company. Communication was excellent with quick replies, very helpful and a small issue we had was dealt with professionally.

We went to 5 parks, stayed at mid-range lodges and a tented room camp in the Serengeti. All of the accommodation and staff were wonderful, well chosen by the company. We were well fed throughout the trip and the cooked camp lunches were such a nice bonus. We always had water and soda available to us.

Our guide, Ibrahim was amazing and a highlight of the experience - we highly recommend him. He was a true professional with regard to knowledge of animal behaviour, as well as timing of drives and keeping us safe. He was always kind to others. He was an expert in spotting animals - we saw the big 5 and all of the other animals we wanted to see.

We have created wonderful memories to last us a lifetime.

I have organised my trip to Tanzania including the safari in 48 hours and I think without Shiri Adventure it wouldn't have been as perfect as it has been!
Luis has responded immediately to my request for quotation for our 3 days safari (Serengeti & Ngorongoro). His easy way of getting in contact via whatssap and his almost 24hr availability made everything so easy and pleasant! he was also super flexible and understandable when my payment didn't go through becasue of internet connectivity. In any case the safari was brilliant! Kili, our guide was a real expert of nature and animals and althoguh 3 days could be too short, he managed to let us see all the big 5 except for the leopard multiple times! We are so happy of having chisen Shiri and we would recommend it to everyone. From the car (some companies were stuck in the mud because they didn't provide real 4X4 cars) to the accomodation (we opted for lodges and Luis chose the Baobab lodges for us - which was amazing in terms of accodation but also food) to the picnic choises (proper food also for kunch and not foodboxes as other were eating) and they also provided us with binoculars as we didn't have enough time to buy them. Shiri Adventures and Baobab are the right company also in terms of sustainability - ZERO PLASTIC and ZERO WASTE!

Note for future clients: if you plan to do 3 days of safari I strongly recommend to buy a flight on the 4th day early morning so you can maximise the 3rd day of safari :)

We had the time of our lives in Africa because of Shiri Adventures! Their customer service was 10/10 ALWAYS day or night responses so quickly throughout our 2 week trip. Our Safari was amazing, so much fun, and truly an unforgettable experience. We did 4 parks in 6 days in our private safari tour. Our guide Francis was so knowledgeable answering so many questions about the area, the culture, and the animals!

Also, our second week we adventured to Zanzibar all expertly coordinated by Shiri down to every last detail. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this company. (And truthfully - we are not easy customers as we have traveled many places and have high expectations) If you are looking for experts and a superior experience, look no further. You won’t be disappointed choosing Shiri!

If you're planning a trip to Tanzania, go with Shiri Adventures! Everything was perfect from day 1. Linus is very professional and the team goes an extra mile to ensure guests are comfortable and happy. I booked a Kilimanjaro - Lemosho route expedition with them and 100% happy with everything - the guide, cook and porters were absolutely fantastic. Made it to the summit just in time for the most beautiful sunrise I've ever seen! Also did a day trip to Maji Moto (on very short notice with them, although they were very accommodating to make this happen) and it was perfect! Thanks team!!! :)

Shiri Adventures made the whole safari experience a breeze! We got to see so many different animals and national parks over the course of our 7 day safari. With the help of our guide we were able to spot and see all of the big 5 animals (lions, elephants, leopards, water buffalo & rhinos)! We got a discounted experience via my wife, but I would pay full price any day. It was amazing!

A safari in Tanzania is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, so you want to make sure you do it properly. Fortunately our tour with Shiri was perfect, including the lodgings as well as our guide Lau who was very experienced, knowledgeable and friendly and made sure we saw lots of animals. The hospitality from Linus - the owner - was exceptional and he was always available over WhatsApp to answer any questions very promptly. It can be overwhelming with hundreds of tour companies to choose from but I would 100% recommend Shiri!

From the first moment we had a great feeling about Shiri and they exceeded our expectations. Linus was very fast in answering all our questions and is helpful at every moment. We choosed a 7 days safari including Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Manyara. Our guide Laurent was amazing, very friendly and gives a lot of information about the country, the culture and the animals. He was really driven to get the most out of the safari and so we were able to see a lot of animals. The places were we stayed overnight were well chosen and especially the lodge in Serengeti was amazing with the sound of lions and hyenas in the the night. Also the quality of the food and the locations of the lunches were very good. We should advise anyone to join a tour with them without doubt.
