We Travel Hostel

The hostel is okay, there are a lot of power cuts (not the hotel fault) but then it's difficult to use the Aircon or do laundry when we come back from Kilimanjaro hike. The food is actually extremely good. We had the lentils local dish, the salad and a smoothie. I was really impressed and wished we had eaten more at the restaurant.

Really lovely hostel. There was a small problem with our reservation but they had no problem resolving the issue. The room was clean and had a big bathroom and AC. The breakfast was delicious and is served on a lovely terrace with a nice view. The location is central so it’s perfect for any activities you might want to enjoy in Moshi.

Very central hostel, amazing rooftop, nice food options, big beds, mattress was a little wore out, laundry bag for 15.000 tzs, 5 min walking to the bus stop

Stay here! I never write reviews but I owe this team a 5-star review. I stayed at a place afterwards that cost 4x as much and did not offer AC, WiFi, hot water, great food, and incredible service like We Travel did. I booked a private room & bathroom with AC. The team is sooo happy and hospitable, not to mention you will connect with a ton of incredible travelers. The city noise is due to an ideal central location and it did not bother me at all. You won’t find better prices for accommodations or excursions and We Travel offers the best service anyway. I felt at home quickly and cannot wait to return. Thank you Mohammed, Gladys, Bahadi, Eliza, & chef for my adventure!

This hostel is a great choice if you are staying in Moshi. The price was cheap, the service was good, the place was clean, breakfast is good, and it is located in the center of Moshi. It also has a nice terrace where you can eat and socialize with other travelers. Price-quality relation was great.

Located at the center of Moshi town, very easy to go anywhere around Moshi from there. The rooms are great and they have air conditioning(very important in hot season) and prices are friendly.

I've stayed here on multiple occasions. The rooftop is the perfect place to socialise with a drink or meal and look over the wonderful city of Moshi and its people. Gladys was very supportive when I was buying a donkey and my walk through Tanzania. The staff are all lovely and welcoming!

This place was perfect for a Kilimanjaro hike! I was worried about the quality because of the price but it turned out great! It was simple but clean and had everything I needed. The dorm beds are wider than average so that was awesome. The staff was phenomenal. Very helpful and friendly. I had cash flow issues because I was trying to pay for Kilimanjaro hike all in cash and they let me owe some money until I got down the mountain. Also allowed me to store my luggage for the 6 days and take a shower even though I wasn’t staying the night after. The location was great - close to laundromat, restaurants , shops and banks. It was also very easy to meet like-minded travelers staying at the hostel. Definitely recommend! Stay here!

Good price for private room (private bathroom and A/C). Very helpful staff. And wonderful smiling Chef who can advice everyday what fresh to order and it is very tasteful. Nice rooftop to enjoy the place. Highly reccomend that place!

Lovely spot. Stayed a week when I had tonsillitis before climbing Kili. Shame the hangout area is a bit small and only wooden seating. Could do with a couch chill area. Amazing staff and delicious breakfast. Bargain

We really enjoyed our stay in this hostel. Staff members are super friendly and helpful. Food is good and affordable.
There is a tour office in the same building as well and they are great !!

Very nice service and good breakfast. Big bathrooms and comfortable enough rooms. Loved the menu but some ants in the food..

Great cheap accomodation. Less than 7 USD for a bed in dorm room, free breakfast included. 3 bathrooms, 3 showers. Yes there is noise due to close proximity to busy streets, and yeah mosquito nets were kind of small but at least they didn't have holes in them. Kitchen at the top was neat. Pizza I ordered was delicious, pasta was ok. They offer good selection of meals and drinks at affordable prices. Breakfast was delicious as well. Friendly staff.

The best hostel in Moshi. Very clean facilities, the staff are super friendly and it's located right at the main street. It was my second stay and I loved everything

Amazing accomodation in the center of Moshi! Nice staff! Great balcony to relax where you also have breakfast! The restaurant has delicious food and good prices, prepared in the moment by the chef! Good internet connection!

Lovely welcoming staff who speak excellent English and will teach you basic Swahili. Very central location. Shared rooms and also single rooms with generous sized bed, ensuite and AC. Breakfast included - fruit and eggs with toast. They can even organise kili airport pick up and drop off and there is a laundry service at great price. Thanks

Wonderful little hostel located in the heart of Moshi, with a true hostel vibe. The terrace with darts and games is a cool place to meet people and share more about the Kilimanjaro climb and treks. Breakfast is excellent, with toasts, pancakes, omelettes, fruits, fresh juices, etc! incredible for an hostel. Gladys, Mahati and the Chef are adorable people running the place.
The only drawback is that they don’t serve beers inside, you will have to go down and walk 2 minutes to buy some in a shop and bring them back to drink on the hostel terrace.
Without doubt the best deal in Moshi for climbers and for hostel vibes.

Friendly staff and self-service bar with super good brownies. Stayed 7 usd per night in dorm when I came without prior reservation. Good value for money. However, some noise from the main road.
