Irente View Cliff Lodge And Campsite

With some friends we were hiking from Lushoto to the Irente Viewpoint and came by to ask for room prices in here. We thought it could be expensive , but: surprise! They gave us a nice offer and to be honest, the value is MUCH better than what we could get at rustic farms that were even changing us more.

We really enjoyed our afternoon and morning here!, having some beers at our balcony (even when getting the cheapest room, view to some Usambara mountain was beautiful).
- Comfortable bed and rooms
- The best hot shower I've had in my two months in Africa
- Lovely breakfast with vegetables, chapati, fruit, omelettes, juice...
- Nice views and literally 3min walk to Irente Viewpoint (perfect for sunrise/sunset although sunset is better)
- Nice service 👌🏽 asante Amani!

Only things to improve I'd say is dining room is quite dark and staff does not speak much English, but all of the rest, very nice 👍🏽

I recommend staying at this Hotel to enjoy everything.... One of the best Hotel in a Location wise at Lushoto...

Fantastic views of the Irente. The Main Road from Tanga to Moshi to Arusha, scarcely trafficked. Marvellous views of the valley. Enjoyed thoroughly!

First off all I have to say that, I didn't took any room inside but I visited there for the view.

But let me tell, it was very marvellous experience for me. I paid tsh 1000 for the entrance and for the need to pay 2000 extra. I arrived there early almost near 8.30 so there were fog everywhere (also showering). So I decided to take one cup of coffee. They served me from the breakfast for the in house guest. It cost me 3000.

The restaurant staffs were nice and I got one personal guide for the view.

For the rooms it's starting from 100k (got the information from one of the staff) and in three different categories. If you have budget you should stay one night here. Far better than going any other in town. Even for family like an apartment available (near 270k - better contact them directly because may be it varies) with 2 rooms inside for big family.

Very nice place with view of mountains straight from the room. Irene view point is just behind the lodge.

Super cold in june end. Super comfy and the staff also are very good. The guy named edward helped us and guided us places to go. Also very friendly. Meet edward when you go to this place he will sort you out well

The lodge is on a top of a cliff, there is a small walk to the top of the cliff and the view up there is amazing ! You shouldn’t miss the sunset.

We enjoy to camp here, with my sister. We slept with our own tente, the view from the tente was awesome! Sunset exceptional! + buffet at night, with nice staff and good food + thea and cake! Delicious!! Anthony did his best for us. All suggestion, all idea from him was excellent! Toilette and shower very simple, outside, but with water, and flat grassland area , with a good dinner with the view : Magic! We will remember that thanks to Anthony who propose us to stay there! Paradise!

The lodge is up the hills! First trip and second i visited just for view, Third trip i overnight there and real was fantastic! Evening i enjoyed sunset! Rooms, food and service are nice!

Nice Hotel with amazing view from our room into the valley. We enjoyed our stay. It was a good location to explore the mountains.

Perfect hotel with the perfect view. Good hospitality, a very nice bar and restaurant, delicious food.. The plus point about the place is the view point.. Offers magnificent view of the usambara plain and the sunset from the view point is a must watch. Even If you don't stay in the hotel, a hike to the view point is possible and it's a must.

Beautiful place to be, way high in the clouds. With an amazing view down the valley whenever clouds clear up. Great food and nice service. Quite, peaceful and clean.. Clouds keep on embracing your skin cooling it off 😃

Very coolest weather, coolest and most beautiful scenes and a little scary looking over the cliffs.

Check out the small shops that sell souvenirs and do not go to see the big cliff, kinda scary to look down.

A very cool place to spend your vacation, whether you are solo, family or group. Very friendly atmosphere and friendly employees
