Gorilla Hills Eco-Lodge Bwindi

This was such a great lodge! The rooms were fantastic and each one had a large balcony with views of the Impenetrable Forest. We didn't get lucky enough to see Gorillas or elephants walk by (we were told it was a common path for them) but the stay wad fantastic. The rooms were huge and clean with hot water and electricity. Service was impeccable. Staff couldn't do enough for us. My only downside sounds a bit silly given it's location but internet was very spotty. Despite offering it, very few of us could actually get on.

The view of the jungle with the mountain gorillas from our balcony was incredibly beautiful. The food was really great and the breakfast was the best we had in Uganda. The service was amazing: when we came back from gorilla tracking, it was pouring with rain and they were waiting for us with umbrellas, in the evening they made a fire and hot water bottles for us and so much more. We were looked after very lovingly. I would definitely come back!
Make sure you have a 4x4. The road is very bumpy.

The lodge is very new, not many tourists yet. The people working there provide a great service. The rooms are very clean and big with terrace and great view into the jungle. This was the best accommodation in my whole east Africa trip

It is a beautiful and a amazing place in the middle of Bwindi Forrest. You have an astonishing view from the main terrace and the private rooms. They have a terrace and a panoramic window, even the bathroom has a panoramic view.
With solar system they make sure that you have always warm water. The service is perfect and the food just delicious. They support you and suggest you a lot of activities that can be done around. It is a perfect place to stay. I would always chose to come back.

This lodge is situated absolutely beautiful at the border of the rainforest. You can observe a lot of birds and other animals directly from the patio of the quiet located and separated appartements in the forest.
The lovely staff was very friendly and courteous. Best banana pancakes for breakfast we've ever eaten.
We stayed 3 nights and it was one of the best accomodations we had on our roadtrip in Uganda. For nature lovers it is the best choice in the Rushaga sector. Just 15 minutes drive to the UWA-gate for the gorilla trekking.

Very simple, clean and hospitable lodge where we had a great time. The food was really delicious with a new menu available everyday. Kefa was out waiter and looked after us when also needed some extra fuel brought to us, when a huge spider was in our room … and more. They electricity was more unavailable than available which was not a problem for is because we preferred to be disconnected but in case that is a must for you should take it into consideration. The fireplace at the end of the day was always a magical touch.

Beautiful place, food was great. They offer copious lunch for gorilla trekking. Really appreciated the welcoming staff with Kifa and his colleagues

I got a very good experience as I stayed there for 4 days. It was fun seeing how gorillas come to my door seeing them thru the window in the very cold morning. Thanks to the management for the effort and good services rendered to us

Absolutely loved our stay at the eco-lodge. We were greeted with a lot of smiles and amazing hospitability during the whole stay. Kefa looked after us, was always keen to help and went beyond his duties to make sure we have a comfortable stay (organized and delivered extra gas for us since we ran out and there was not a near gas station nearby). The food was also very delicious and considering the location, the variety was always pleasing. The electricity was on & off many times during our stay and the internet was very slow/almost non-existent but that's expected given the remote location.

Good location, accessible, good staffs, Sylivia is amazing, very hospital, cepher is on point , a very Caring guy, I loved the internet, hot tea in the evening and good care for the driver, the chefs are nice , I loved my dinner 🥣, I recommend this Hotel if you are trekking gorillas in Rushaga,

I would recommend this place to everyone visiting Bwindi - the views from the terrace are incredible and the staff is amazing, they do everything to make your stay a great experience

Super mooi verblijf, aardig personeel en mooie en schone kamers. De weg naar het verblijf is prachtig. Tijdens ons verblijf een community walk gedaan, is zeer aan te raden.

Bwindi is an impenetrable Forest 😂 trust your car on rainy days! Fell in love with the place the rooms and the forest views. Can't wait to always be there, always
