Gorilla Valley Lodge

Amazing staff. They were all so helpful and friendly (special thanks to Vincent; such a nice guy). food was good quality, lot of options and fair price. Rooms were cool and quiet (bit moldy smell). I suggest to ask for a room up hill (room 7 till 11). The lounge and restaurant had a great view and wifi (although bit spotty).

Getting here was a bumpy road that gets really muddy with rain. The location is only a 20 min drive from the Rushaga gate. The staff were very friendly and there was eye for detail such as a warm bottle to warm the bed in the evening, and a really good take away lunch for $10 which is ideal for the gorilla tracking. The lunch was quite large and even included homemade made cookies! The room was basic and smelled moldy, the shower was good, and the view from the room was amazing. We heard lots of birds and monkeys. The food was great and for us perfect portions.

We were at the Gorilla Valley Lodge in February 2023 for our honeymoon and had an absolute wonderful time. The service was amazing and the banana pancakes are to die for. The best part about it is the view, situated in the valley on a ridge it offers incredible views of the rainforest. The rooms are not the most luxurious but its to be expected. They still had everything you needed and a mosquito net. Great location as its extremely close to the entrance for the gorilla trek!

Really nice lodge with super friendly staff! Rooms were good with hot shower. Food, both dinner and our packed lunch, were perfect. The manager of the lodge even came with us to help us reach the gorilla tracking checkpoint in time. Will definitely return!

This calm and quiet place is a resort of its own with a great view of the famous Bwindi Impenetrable forest National Park.. Which is the home of the Mountain gorillas.
Has excellent service and serenity.

Great value for money. Staff were so kind and helpful and even let us have a shower in our room after gorilla trekking even though we had already checked out.

Very beautiful place. Beauty meets nature at Gorilla Valley Lodge. Very natural, very relaxing. Very good food and in variety, friendly staff. very beautifu, cleanl and highly personalized rooms . suitable to any type of travellers.

It was a delight staying at this place. Festo the manager was sooo welcoming! It was also really nice how he gave us really good recommendations for our next stays. We even got the laudry dried even though we washed it at another place. Super nice!

Be prepared for up&down nothing is on level ground, serious hill views from rooms

Lodge très bien placé à 15 minutes de Rushaga Gate. Chambre simple, un peu vétuste, sans eau chaude le matin ( système de chauffe eau solaire).
Personnel absolument adorable, prévenant, sympathique, souriant. Merci à Festo, Maurice, Happyness et tous les autres pour leur accueil et leur gentillesse.
Petit déjeuner et dîner délicieux.

Schöne Lodge, schwieriger Weg dahin, off-road Fahrzeug unbedingt erforderlich. Schöne Aussicht, das Bungalow war etwas feucht

Sehr ruhig, direkt am Urwald. Essen einfach aber lecker. Seht freundliches aufmerksames Personal.

Bushlodge direkt am Rand des Bwindi Impenetrable nahe zum Rushaga Gate (Gorilla-Touren).

Eibe sehr schöne Anlage in wunderschöner Umgebung.
