What a gem inside the hills of Southwest Uganda. I stayed for 18 days and it was one of the best experience ever. The owners are very welcome and happy to let you discover the surroundings. The food is local and well-cooked. The beds are comfortable and protected with a mosquito net. If you’re looking for an authentic Ugandan stay, this is your place.

Had a perfect stay at the Gorilla Village Lodge. Stayed there for 2 weeks during my volunteer work and felt very at home. The food was amazing and always something local, great to get an insight into local cuisine. Highly recommended.

I loved my time at Gorilla Village Lodge so much that i did not want to leave. I found it to be a relaxing setting with a lovely view. It was relaxing, comfortable, charming. And the support staff were always friendly and helpful. There were a few water shortage issues due to the dry season. But i would return without hesitation.

Nice to find a budget option between al the expensive lodges! Food was good, rooms clean and the staff very friendly and helpful.
