Lakeside Escape

Nothing to complain about this place. Your wow moment starts soon as you step off the boat. Staff is professional and attentive your needs, rooms are kept clean, and the food is just delicious from breakfast to dinner. 5 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

All was well at Lakeside Escape but only the road to the place isn't the best. Other services like mobile money isn't available and would request if only management could come in and open up its own mobile money services at site otherwise it won't be the best idea of doing the transaction on phone then again you have to pay for boda transport

Explanations cannot do justice to explain the experience, you have to be there to feel it. A great place to relax, reflect and find yourself. Very many games at the venue too. It is your home away from home. Strictly African, strictly Ugandan

The place is fantastic and with the required ambience for team building and relaxing off the city noise.

Beautiful views of the lake from the balcony. Very tranquil space to relax & vacate. Amazing hospitality & delicious food, especially the fresh well prepared tilapia fish from the lake.

Really loved this place, beautiful views with an option of a boat cruise, board games, camp fire place and projector screens for both big teams and small to individuals who would want to spend a moment enjoying the night sky outside. I loved their customer care and amenities. It can be accessed through Ggaba with a boat or through Mukono via Katosi.

The place actually has convenient space for team building activities like all kinds of pitch activities,swimming, rope pooling,peddling very many of the games

Natural lake side environment, beautiful scenery, delicious food. Lots of birds. SE monkeys. Quiet and refreshing. Child friendly. Has swimming 🥽 pool. Boat ride. Accessible by road, had a great drive to and from.

The entire property is gorgeous, with attention to detail included in every part! It is wonderfully maintained, with the perfect combination of nature and luxury. But the best part by far, was the staff. Everyone at Lakeside was friendly, helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable...they even set up a projector for us to watch the World Cup final! Jimmy was beyond helpful and recommend everyone to stay here, whether you're travelling solo or have a book group for a retreat.

Very quiet. Peaceful. Hidden away gem of a nature getaway. African furnishings, great food, courteous staff, in-house and external games for family. Nature walks with fresh air. Clean Swimming pool. Next to the lake. Hammocks to relax.
Take insect repellent. Those Mosquitoes are vicious at night. Rooms are however devoid of them. How they do it?? I don’t know. Bring your own toiletries. No frills. Only soap available.
Have binoculars if you are an avid bird watcher. Many species of butterflies.

Very natural. Very comfortable. Though no Internet but its worth it since its an escape

It was amazing, the owners are very friendly lovely people who will do everything to make your stay special . All the cottages are so unique and for sure we will come back to book each of them . Thank you for the great time

The staff at lake side escape are very hospitable.and the service is the best I have seen in Uganda the rooms are clean comfortable and gv u a view of the lake .their meals are yummy every single thing they cook was fantastic

Lakeside Escape is one of a kind for nature lovers. Their services are excellent. The cottages are quite unique. The variety of outdoor activities especially the biking makes it all worth while. If asked to choose, I will Lakeside Escape every single time.

Quaint african style resort with a great lake view! The meals are to standard and lots of games for adults and children! Best place to relax away from work!

Great and warm place to be while needing that peace and quiet.. sweet place..

The environment is very serene, and indeed an escape a paradise on Earth in the heart of the Pearl of Africa, the staff are friendly and spot on with service, 2 transport options on land via Mukono and on water via Gaba, the boat ride was a magnificent experience of it's own, with scenic landscape, safety comes first on the boat, the night boat ride was another spectacular moment. A day may not be enough at Lakeside escape, because the activities are many with nature walks , boat ride to Idi Amin's island, Board games , bicycle riding, volleyball and other team building activities. An Olympic standard swimming pool is at hand for those who love swimming.

Lots of games for both kids and adults. From ludo, to swimming, bicycles riding and badminton. Spacious. Good food. And ofcourse next to the lake

Very lovely stunning view, good place to go for peace and quite. Internet connectivity quite a challenge though
