The staff was helpful and friendly! I found what needed easily. It is clean! I don't have to check myself out. The manager works as hard as his employees. I have see him help stock shelves and look in back for stick for customers

I live in California and the employees at this Walmart were friendly and approachable to ask for assistance. Definitely a completely different experience than the Walmarts that I have been to in California. Atchison, Kansas Walmart, you ROCK!!!

I have learned how to order online, and pick it up. I can have someone pick up my stuff for me and bring it to me. ( I don't drive). When I've gone a long, the process was smooth and simple. I love it!

First time ordering groceries online to be picked up. Love this convenience so much as it's getting harder and harder for me to do much walking on those concrete floors.
Things went so smoothly, although there was about a 15 minute wait - a lot of people take advantage of this service. Brian brought my order to me. He was very friendly, quickly explained things since this was new to me. Placed my items in the back of my car with care, wished me a good day and I was on my way. Thank you Brian, I appreciate your attention to detail, I love that you seem to enjoy what you do, a kind attitude is a day-brightener for everyone! I will definitely use this service again even if it does mean 90 minute drive. Sure wish my local store would incorporate this service...!

Good customer service. I did Curbside Pick Up . I love it because you get to save time and money. The only complaint I have is the freah fruit and veggies are sometimes not in a good quality. It is winter time but I wish they were better quality. Thank you to the hard working team members for sure. It was -12 and she did awesome 🎉🙏

Nice clean store. Everyone asks how you're doing and do you need any help. A lot places don't see a need to treat you like a person.

I loath going to our local Walmart, however we found this little jem hidden when we started taking our recycling over to Atchison a year ago.
This store is amazingly clean, no issues with being hounded at the door by people. Always stocked up and the customer service is amazing.
We will gladly drive 16 miles to shop here bi monthly.
Plus Atchison always has something to do.

Walmart's aren't all the same. Atchison's store is clean and the parking lot is good sized. It's not over crowded with people and long lines like South Belt St. Joe. The isles are spacious for the most part. It's up to date, and I love the music outside.
The clothing is not really stylish. It's very basic. They need to take a lesson from St. Joe in that dept. Certain things are always out of stock. But at the same time there is always people stocking while you're shopping, or big crates of product blocking the isles.
But all in all it's pretty good. Just a normal shopping trip to Walmart. 😉

Placed a pickup order. Processed early. Associate was friendly and professional. Some items were out of stock. Substitutions were made and a few items refunded. Thank you for the excellent service!

👍"Everyone for the most part was extremely helpful..."It's Wal-Mart!!!...They are the "SAME" every where except some are cleaner than others and have "MORE" friendly employees... This store is clean, pretty well kept and like any "Wal-Mart" it has a few less desirable employees...This store has some descent sales off and on... Their curbside is quick but, they do need some help picking better "fruits and veggies"...

The checkout personnel was GREAT she talk and was friendly and did her job showing she cared about the job and costumers. Even made sure we had all our bags before walking away.

The employee that assisted me was very friendly & willing to help. I asked where I could find an item & after telling me, I thanked him & went to walk to that department. He told me that he'd take me there to help find what I was looking for. Wish I would've paid attention to his name tag. I'm so thankful for people like him.

The people where helpful. except one associate. She said I'm on my break and come to find out she was standing right next to the item we were looking for. I don't get paid for helping people when I'm on my break.

A little background to qualify my review, I lived in OKC, OK for 30 years before moving to St. Joe at the beginning of 2020. Now, I have finally made my way home to Atchison and this Walmart is a great example of why I wanted to come home. The employees are friendly, they go out of their way to say "hello" and "can I help you". I see complaints about the aisles being full because of a lack of help due to cut backs. Friends, go to a Walmart in St. Joseph and come back and tell me your problems here...you won't have any. Go to one in a big city...you'll be in love with the Walmart in Atchison. I'm yet to meet a perfect retailer, but this in my humble opinion is about as close as you're going to get. Add to it that the citizens of Atchison itself are friendly and instead of ignoring or shunning others, people 'mask smile' and say hello. Oh I'm so happy to be home and that this is my new Walmart!!!
