Angels Theatre

Wine portions are tiny and unfair. The seats were comfortable and the screen was a decent size with good picture and sound. The lobby could be a lot cleaner and better furnished.

So happy they are showing THE CHOSEN and my money can stay close to home. It is a very comfortable experience with the super nice seats that recline. I don't mind paying for a great experience. The employees are really nice.

absolutely, the best place to see a movie. They have the best seats, screens, beer, wine, and many other types of good items to eat. You will love this place. Really, it’s that nice of a place to see a movie. Thank you for the new power seats and the EXCELLENT Staff. The Staff that work here are top notch people who love what they do. Peace to everyone.

This theatre has always been such a quaint movie theatre with a ton of local culture and adult drinks. We didn’t know they totally remodeled it recently and wow, it came out awesome with reclining seats. Staff and manager Jeff are great. It’s always a favorite place to watch movies!

To be honest I was a little suspicious on this theatre…small town and looks vintage from outside. But than I read the reviews and wanted to give it a try. As we drove to the theatre I could see the concern on peoples faces..we are from Chicago so we are used to big city and huge theatres and our gps said 1mile away and we were still just driving thru fields of nothing.

All that changed once we stepped inside. This is what going to the movies should be like! Friendly service (I forgot what it’s like to be treated like a customer), reasonable food prices and the seats were so clean and comfortable. The renovations inside was amazing and we had the best movie experience in a long time. I wish we had a theatre like Angels Theatre back in Chicago!

Loved this movie theater!! Huge movie theater inside, you can probably fit three hundred people or more. Sounds was great! The people working there were super nice and very friendly. Popcorn was delicious! We will definitely catch another movie there when we visit Angels Camp.

Comfortable roomy seats. Cleaned superbly. A very friendly and helpful staff. Tickets are fairly priced and they offer senior discounts. Do not judge the complex by the lobby. There are six very nice theaters in the back

been here to see about 7 or 8 movies and always had a good experience. saw Oppenheimer on early release night and there was maybe 12 other people in the theater. overall super chill employees and great theaters

Great small town theater in all the areas that count: vibrant picture, clear and well placed sound, and very comfortable seating. The staff was friendly and the popcorn is seriously some of the best movie theater popcorn I've ever had. And for all of this, the ticket prices are very reasonable. I would be happy to watch any movie at this location.

Everytime we come in here, the manager remembers us. And I've only been with my daughter once here so it's nice that they do that. Makes us feel welcomed. I also love the prices compared to Jackson.

We recently hosted a private screening of our movie at Angel’s Camp Theatre. Everyone had a wonderful time (fantastic seats!) and we couldn’t have done it without the Cinema West team. Special thank you to Cheree Eveland, special events coordinator who helped us coordinate the event, Nate Alchesky, the projectionist, and especially Bryan Martinez, the theatre general manager, and his amazing staff.

We LOVE the Angels Theatre at Angels Camp in Calaveras County!!!!

We hope to have other screenings there in the near future.

Just watched Sound of Freedom, Regal Sonora only had 2x showings from July 3rd - 4th, very important movie for our time. Angels Camp was the closest without having to go to the Valley, Calaveras County never disappoints. Been awhile since I last came here, which was Man of Steel. Really loved the Electric Recliner Seats, really comfortable for the viewing experience.

The theater is beautiful and so well kept. The new seating is very comfortable. This is our go to place if we want to see a new movie.

Watched the premiere of Tellers camp in the theatre near the place it was shot.

An old building with lots of history, that has been renovated to accept modern technology, seating, and updated finishes. A real pleasure to enjoy current movies etc. We actually prefer going there over some of the nearby theatres.

It was closed when we stopped there in February 2021. One of the posters on the facade of the Theatre showed the Mulan movie.

Don't let the small storefront throw you. The theaters are very well apportioned, very comfortable, and hold a surprising amount of people. The only thing that threw me was the height of one of the urinals. Maybe the plumber thought that NBA stars were going to be frequenting this place? Whatevs, we had a nice time and would be very happy to come back for another show next time we are in town.

Nice cute little place. The movie seats are amazing the people that work there are young and friendly. It was a all in all good experience with the family my husband my 5-year-old and I had a good time
