Highway House Restaurant

Great place to stop for lunch passing through. We had our dogs with us and were able to sit on the nice shaded patio. The turkey avocado melt was delicious. Our son liked his burger, the fries were great. The BBQ chicken salad wasn’t my favorite. We will definitely be back.

A good place to eat, if you are traveling in the Jackson area. The staff is courteous and helpful. Highway House has a bar so if you need a cocktail, they have you covered (good Margaritas). You'll get good portions for the price and very tasty and filling.

First the waitress was great she made me laugh . But no Monte Cristo.. it was the best service I habe had in jackson . The food was almost as good and the service did I mention the service and if your the owner reading it and want to give her a raise just ask you servers if someone wanted a Monte Cristo iam gonna Teel everyone to go here cause the service was excellent

A sit down and eat joint with honest to goodness GOOD FOOD. All I want to know is... How does the cook time all that food so perfectly??? I'll be back 😁

Our server was awesome warm and friendly and she gave our dog some special attention! Which was really nice, it's hard traveling with a dog must places aren't dog friendly.

I had the Fuji apple chicken salad it was the best thing I have eaten all week! The family ordered the original burger (which was huge my 15 year old was full halfway into it), the cranberry chicken sandwich with onion rings, the kids had teriyaki chicken and a cheese burger. Portions were big and everyone really enjoyed there meal!

If you are traveling through Jackson be sure to grab a meal at the Highway House. Great food, good people and a full bar make this restaurant a go to for the locals and visitors.

Not just for breakfast but excellent lunches with cooked to order burgers and onion rings that are top notch !

1st time visitor today. Wait staff was awesome and I am thinking it was the owner, he was great as well. As soon as I was taken to my table he asked what I was having to drink. He had a nice selection of beer, wine, and spirits. He served me the whiskey I asked for and then he brought me a taste of one of his favorite Bourbons. Overall my experience was awesome and I will definitely return.

Lina is so Sweet. Always Singing when she comes to our table. How are Youuu.. keeper. Kelly just Love her. All the Employees we have encountered treat us Like a Family. You are Gifted to Have them.

I love the Highway House! Food is great and they have reasonable prices. I always order their Sirloin steak dinner cause I enjoy it a lot!

Really good food and fast service. Nice place on a hot day to grab some food. Sandwiches are huge and really good. Salads are great as well. Highly recommended for singles, families or groups. Drinks are kept full and parking is easy. Two doors, one wheelchair accessible and one not, but very accommodating.

Delicious food! Great burgers. Generous portions. Taylor was an awesome server. We came here for the first time today for a nice lunch to celebrate our anniversary. Highway House far exceeded expectations!!! Definitely coming back again and again. Thank you Highway House!!!!❤

This is our new place to eat we loved it it's a little bit more $ than other places but the food is great at you get a lot for your money.

Excellent service, we could change an entree to fit our dietary restrictions without paying extra! The food was very good as well!

Excellent dining experience. Went in with a party of 11. Didn't have to wait long at all for a table to fit all of us. Our waitress was in top of everything. I mean she is a pro. Took drink orders, food orders, top of drinks. Made our dining experience so much-loved. Whenever we are back in that area definitely going back. Tons of food on menu, and I want to try it all.

The place was warm & welcoming & we loved the full bar.
We all had breakfast items that were delicious!
Wheat toast tasted homemade.
Eggs, hot & fluffy.
Home potatoes were crispy & seasoned just right.
(The biscuits & gravy however good,
were not my favorite.
Biscuits were flat & gravy was too peppery.)
