Best Western Windsor Inn

We've stayed at this motel several times, and it works perfectly for us as a stop between Southern California and Seattle.

It is an older motor lodge style hotel (where you walk out of your door right to the parking lot), and we like being able to park in front of our room. It is an older facility, but well maintained, with the rooms having some updates and upgrades. The television choices are GREAT, with many channels and multiple HBO options. One note - like almost all hotels in the area, there is an "Olde England" style to the buildings, as Ashland is known for it's annual Shakespeare festival. So - "To thine own self be true."

The breakfast room is a separate part of the facility, and you have to walk across the parking lot to get there (so - be ready for whatever weather you might experience.) The room is spacious, and the food is good - hot and plentiful.

The pool area is outdoors, and the hot tub seems to be available year round. We last travelled on Christmas Day, and the hot tub was a very welcome reward for a long cold day on the road.

The price we paid that day was FANTASTIC, and was a very good deal given the level of comfort we experienced. This is a first-choice selection for us when we stay in Ashland-Medford Oregon.

Lovely little pool and looks like hot tub. The front desk person was super friendly. It was so nice after a long drive to have a friendly face and greeting! Super quiet. We will stay here again!

Very comfortable and accommodating. The property is well maintained, it is Well lit at night, makes driving up to it in the dark they welcoming experience. Front office post is pleasantly informative, gives great directions to room and a descriptive outline of the hotels amenities. It is dog friendly, they provide a sheet doggie poop bags and a treat or two which was very considerate and probably helps encourage everyone to be conscientious of their pet policies! The grounds are manicured and offer a designated pet area with bench seating and poop bag dispensers trash cans. There's there's a pool and a Jacuzzi sadly I didn't have a chance to test. The hotel offers breakfast in the morning. Coffee was great staff was friendly and the interior was clean. Breakfast offerings are typical of most chain hotels these days. Juice dispensers, small box milks hard boiled eggs yogurt oatmeal choice of berries brown sugar butter. They had a hot food section offering free made egg and cheese omelette type thing sausage links, and scrambled eggs. A little different than the typical flip waffle was there automatic pancake belt. Where you press the start button and just about a minute later you received two pancakes. They had tons of fun condiments if you're into that sort of thing! LOL my favorite being Tapatio hot sauce! It's a nice place to lay your head.

Convenient off the I-5 and just a few minutes to downtown Ashland and about 15 minutes or so to Jacksonville. Super friendly staff, clean and tidy room, basic breakfast for busy people on the go. I like the "Olde England" outside look. Would definitely stay at the Best Western Windsor again!

Very nice experience. Staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. There was a complimentary breakfast included with the stay. Recommended!

Planed to stay at this Windsor Inn for 2 nights,,ended up staying 7...Very nice older hotel,,well kept up..rooms are in good shape,,beds are of higher quality then most...Front desk people are some of the best,,especially afternoon check-in person Ryan....

Nice place. Great service, 2 good restaurants close by. The Mexican restaurant next door was super. Give it a try, you'll like it.

I was very impressed with this Best Western. The staff was very courteous, helpful which made check in and check out go so smoothly. The king size bed room was very spacious, clean and comfortable and the decor was very tasteful. The bed and bedding/pillows were also very comfortable. It’s one of the best Best Western room I have stayed in. We are returning.

This kind of hotel can be hit or miss, but we thought the Windsor was fantastic for this class of hotel. The exterior is very charming. The room was stocked and clean, beds were comfortable, and bathroom was clean with good water pressure. The free breakfast was typical and had everything you would expect. The room access was to the exterior if that matters to you, but the area was clean, well-lit, and seemed very safe.

I hope anyone staying here in the future meets Ryan at the front desk and benefits from his outstanding, funny, positive, and genuine service. The room was spacious, clean, and well appointed. The breakfast was better than average -scrambled eggs, bacon, oatmeal, pancake making machine (interesting!), breads +toaster, bagels, juices, and nice selection of condiments. The breakfast attendant (my apologies for failing to get her name) was on point and very friendly! Overall, a nice stay and I would do it again!

Actually, really nice, stayed in several places in this price range, and this one was very clean and very cute, staff was really nice.

Our biggest concern was actually a bunch of negative reviews, saying it was not very clean so they let us check out a few different rooms before paying, we were quite surprised that all the rooms we looked at were very clean!

FYI, they have both the older building and the remodeled building.

They have the best continental breakfast we have ever had at a hotel. The biscuits are soft, hot and fluffy. The gravy had a lot of sausage. They also have the normal stuff like waffles, pancakes, bagles w/ cream cheese, fruit, omelets, sausage, yogurt, juice, milk and coffee. I might have missed a few.... but like I said its the BEST breakfast at a hotel!
Rooms are clean and comfortable. I thought it to be weird that there wasn't and microwave in the room. The community use microwave is in the office. Over all our stay was wonderful!

The young fella who checked me in 8/21/23 late afternoon was very warm, welcoming, and professional. The room I got was very nice and clean.

I love this Best Western! It is perfectly located close to the highway without the highway sounds. The rooms are clean and don't smell like chemicals. Plenty of space in the rooms and bathrooms and there is a large swimming pool outside with a12 person hot tub. The free breakfast is open from 6:30-9:30 and has an abundance of choices. The desk help were very friendly and accommodating. I will definitely be staying here again.

This is a pretty nice place. Clean, very friendly staff, decent free breakfast, allows pets, under $200 a night, pool, spa, free wifi, room was clean and had a good amount of space. The double sink area is nice. The TV only has cable. About 50 channels. I enjoy it when we get rooms with newer tvs that have Netflix, Hulu, and other streaming services. Then we can watch TV just like we do at home.

Great manager and front desk. Super clean and beautiful rooms. Pool is great and breakfast is good too.

We had trailer emergency on the night of 12/30. Ryan was able to get us a king room and when we arrived, upgraded us to a bigger room so that we could bring in our stuff and dry it out (it rained all day and our bags were in the back of the truck). The room, the bed and pillows, and the breakfast were fantastic! We had to return on 1/2 to get our trailer from the rancher up the road. Maria got us a room closer to the parking lot (our trailer is on three tires). The room was nice, but unfortunately the hot water heater didn’t last long enough for a shower. When I checked out and let Maria know, she gave me a credit. The customer service at this location is above excellent. Thank you Ryan and Maira for helping us in an emergency situation! Good news, rancher let us borrow her trailer and we got our horses home on 12/31.

This motel was remodeled and the room was perfect! Spacious and clean. The grounds were beautiful and our two dogs enjoyed the pet areas. Will definitely come back and highly recommend to stay here!

Great hotel for business and family travel. Rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast was good, but get their early, not a ton of seating. Plenty of parking and a great restaurant in a few feet away for dinner. I highly recommend the Best Western Windsor Inn.
