Idaho Falls Community Hospital Emergency Room

Smothered by professional attention all the way from the front desk through reattachment of thumb. Kind, quick, gentle, empathetic, and very skilled. Left nothing for subsequent orthopedic care to do but to order it's casting, and watch it heal. 50 STARS. (You really don't want to see the photos)

If I could give this hospital 10 stars I would. I could not have had a more positive experience here. Not only my husband's care; nurses and doctors but my two young sons and I were cared for like family. Nicole- the night front-end charge nurse, Zach-the deputy, and Dr Brian Obyrne were fantastic. They went above and beyond the call of their duties to comfort and care for us and I cannot thank them enough for their provisions. I will forever be grateful for these three.

The ER staff was kind and thorough, we were seen right away and our nurse Mike was awesome. Thank you for taking care of us!

It was an ok experience but they sent me a bill for over $600. My insurance said they are in agreement with them and this is a write off which means they will recoup the over $600 bill in taxes yet they are trying to collect from me. I talked to emergency room billing (PH# on statement) and they confirmed I owe the amount and the insurance company paid all they are paying but not that they were in agreement with the insurance company to accept insurance payment as full payment and they did not tell me they will write off the $600 and also try to recoup from me which means they would receive double payment for the 1 visit. Be careful patients. Verify, verify you owe.

Had the worst experience of my life in the emergency room. The staff was great except for the doctor. He wouldn't look to see what was going on just sent in my prescriptions and sent me home. I have never been treated so badly by a doctor that I have seen before but I won't be coming back. If I could give Dr. Garrity negative stars I certainly would. Such disrespect for a patient to have to go through when they are already hurting so much.

I normally really love this e.r. over EIRMC. However tonight has changed my mind. I am in here tonight with my son and we are just across from the nurse station. They are all grouped together making fun of patients and their complaints. "One nurse said well you aren't dying so get the hell out of here " to another nurse about a 61 yr old woman short of breath. Horrible.

I'd give a half star. My niece withering in pain from a massive hemotoma! Nothing to do just monitor. Sad.
