Dr. Shelton is a gem. I’ve never met with a doctor quite like her before—she’s empathetic, relatable and really put me at ease. I had a bit of a wait, but I think that’s because she’s spends so much time with each of her patients. It was so refreshing to have a doctor really be in the moment and focused on my care—not the clock. You can tell she has a lot of passion for her work. I’d recommend her to anyone.

Dr. Shelton is the kindest! I went here based entirely off of others’ reviews and they steered me to her. I’m so glad. I feel safe, listened to, and taken care of. I’m a highly sensitive person who needs warm, encouraging people in my life and she fits the bill. Thank you, Dr Shelton, for your care! ❤

Mariko Shelton is the best ObGyn I have ever had. She is so kind, caring and understanding of any situation you share - she was 100% the reason I went to this practice. She recently started working at a different practice and since I see most of the positive reviews are about her and her work ethic, I wanted to let everyone know she is now working at 25150 Ford Road Suite 200, Dearborn Heights, MI 48127 and 16815 East Jefferson Avenue Suite 210, Grosse Pointe, MI 48230. Took me a while to find this out so I wanted to share with her other previous patients that may have been as upset as I was when she left!

Dr. Shelton just did my csection a week ago and I swear she is a gem most understanding support person ever honestly she was talking to me threw the whole procedure trying to calm me and tell me that she understands

the doctors and nurses are great they knew what they are doing but the wait. I think part of the problem is the front desk, my last appointment I was the only person in the lobby I came up and signed in on the clipboard. She didn’t even look at the clipboard until 10 minutes later. Just poor service they had to order something before I could make an appointment I had to call every week for 3 weeks then when I called they were able to get me in the same day like why would I have to call they should have called me when they got what they needed in the mail. Service is just super poor my first appointment after the nurse saw me I waited over 30 minutes for my doctor. Just super unprofessional I would suggest staying clear if this place unless you have a free day to waste at the obgyn lol. After my first two visits needless to say I will be looking for another obgyn just because they accept my insurance doesn’t mean I’ll continue to waste my time over there.

I found the staff to be very professional and cordial; however, the old lady who was the main OBGYN doctor was rude and unfriendly.

Literally every single time I have to come back here I wait atleast 2 hours in the room! A different doctor office joined this one and there’s like 5-6 doctors and you still have to wait for hours! I’m here now and my appointment was at 9:30a it’s now currently 10:42 and not a single person has come in the room and said anything! After this visit I will no longer be returning and I’m only here for birth control!!!

The wait time is ridiculous. They don't even let you know the doctor is running late or nothing. I've been at my appointment for a hour now and still haven't seen the doctor.
