The Purple Door Store - Great Lakes Crossing

I have shopped at PDS for many years and I still get compliments on the outfits I bought many years ago. Deni, the owner, is magical and is so helpful at putting outfits together that take your wardrobe up not just one notch but 2 or 3! In addition to all of the clothing there are unique items from local artists! Stop in and I bet it will become your “new favorite store”!

This is a great little store to shop at for a Woman! It has something for Everyone! If you're a Husband, Boyfriend, Son, or Brother, there is something that you can purchase for your Love One that they will truly Love, & appreciate! The Store Manager is Pam! She's a wonderful person, as well as all of her other employees! I have shopped here for several years now! I've purchased gifts, & clothing for ALL occasions for my wife, & Godmothers! As a man who struggles with, " what to buy my loved ones!" The Purple Door is literally, mistake proof for men. Whatever, you get your Loved one, they're sure to love it! P.s.- This is the first review that I've ever written! That's how much I love this store. The prices are more than fair, and affordable! If you're a woman, you can lose track of time inside this store, because there's just so much that catches the eye! I know this because of the the numerous visits that I've accompanied myon . If you're a man, and don't know what to buy for your Love One, then the staff will assist you in selecting the perfect gift!!!!!!!!

Beautiful clothing items reasonably priced. Salespeople are friendly and helpful but not pushy. What I liked best was the wide range of clothing in all sizes. I shop a lot but there is no other boutique that compares in terms of selection and affordability. I don’t live nearby but I’m planning a trip out there this Sunday!

We always find something new and interesting here. My artsy 11 yr old granddaughter absolutely enjoys checking things out.

Never heard of this store but was so impressed. Love that they sell separates, some of us, are one size, on top and another on bottom. Will shop hear often. Thanks , saleslady ,was so helpful. Loved it !!!!

Absolutely love this store. Can't wait to go back. I wish it was closer to me.

i NEVER HAVE SEEN A STORE SO WEIRD AND CONFUSING TO ARTISTS THAT SELL AT THIS PLACE ! getting our checks have been another on going problem for me
first payment and checks are to be there on the 10th of each month
that can change at a drop of a hat. Driving 50 miles there on the 10th and no check ready, which cost me gas and time.
That does not mean anything to the owner Denise Dillon because she does not care at ALL! only for herself evidently.
Last check she didn't have in my folder once again and had another story why it was missing.
If customers only knew how artists (myself) are treated with np respect , they probably wouldn't buy from the place.
Tags are attached to every shirt by me and are to be collected to after sold to let me know what sold and price sold for.
Never was I handed any more than 2 attached tags, so I never know what sold or what price it was sold for to tally up my sales for the month. so I can keep track of what i sold.
Then she pushes to bring hoodies and sweatshirts which after (she takes 40% of the item), at which again every item is priced differently according to what it is that is for sale.
What does this all mean? leaving me clueless and never knowing how much checks should be which gives her the the option to write an artist any amount she desires.
Iv'e been warned even by her friends that she manipulates numbers to her benefit which means what? Her brother an apparent attorney is now bombarding me with messages into the wee hours of the morning. I didn't know it was her brother ( until the auburn heights police told me that . Anyone that would life to see the messages I will send them to view if I am able.
She blames not having checks on her sick mother,her health, and every other thing imaginable almost every month. This is only the tip of the iceberg with this stores poorly run place. geez already there is o much to say here that I'd have to have double the time to write this.
I'm so sorry I ever put my products in such a place. There is no reason to go shop there since everything in the store is seen at every high school craft show. Basically vendors there don't have websites so this is there only way to sell there stuff. I have so many designs that she has me sickened every time I went there to refill all sold items.
You won't find me there ever again since I just took my stuff out of there and will never ever put my eyes on the purple door store..
Do yourself a favor and thank me for this review if you don't go there.

Don’t buy the wet specimens! Very cloudy and smell horrible!! Wet specimens should most definitely not smell and if done right shouldn’t be cloudy either.
