Woodworth Animal Hospital

I will continue to only come to Woodworth Animal Hospital because of the respect the vet gave my son once he told the vet it was his cat... The vet then only talked to my son during the whole visit explaining to him how our kitten would grow up into an adult cat and how his teeth would fall out the vet even laughed at my son's response to hoping he can find the kitten teeth and have the tooth fairy give him money for teeth that weren't his... The vet then showed my son how to feel the kittens ribs and if they felt too boney to give him more food and test that every 2 weeks. Thank you all for being so respectful and sweet to us when we come in we honestly can't wait to come to the vet again!

This is the ONLY vet that helped me in my time of need for my Pet Rats which had to be put down. Made room for us the day we called. Reasonable prices. An very compassionate! I tried the other Animal hospital in town and was basically treated as if my rats weren't of importance......will always be grateful for woodworth. Always recommend them.

I recently made my first visit here with a sick dog. I also had to bring along my other dog.
I had not found a new vet since the untimely death of their previous vet.
I felt so welcome here. Not only did they make time for my sick baby, they also updated the other dog's vaccines. Everyone was so kind and caring, obviously educated and quite competent.
Dr Miller was impressive. I hope that she will accept us as her clients.
I recommend this office, but save time for my babies.😁

Our first dog only ever knew Woodworth Animal Hospital, and recently we tried a few vets in C'ville, really did not like the experience, and are so glad to be back at woodworth. Totally worth the drive from Charlottesville!!

Roscoe wasn't afraid. They were helpful to choose flea and tick products, and kind to our hansome boy. He's no longer scared to ride in car either.

We have been going to Woodworth for 14 years now. Always feel my pets are well cared for. Staff is always friendly and on it. They helped us keep our old girl with us and in good health until she was 16.

They were very caring towards my cat. The staff was friendly and the place was very clean. I highly recommend them.

Love this place! The first Vet office that I have been to where they care more about my animal than trying to sell me something, or guilt me into services not really necessary.

I had to have my cat neutered. The staff were very polite, the cost was very reasonable, and the Dr's were very professional. They also offered inoculations for rabies as well as others. I will gladly return to them.

The staff here are always friendly and are clearly animal lovers they have all been very attentive to my pets needs. Woodworth has been my veterinarian through several pets over many years and I have always found them to be fair in their pricing and have never felt taken advantage of or overcharged when it came to the bill.

My family has been taking our pets here for years. Having pets of my own now I decided I wanted to continue using this vet. I live an hour away now but for me it is worth the drive. I took one of my dogs here for a regular check up and some other issues. Dr. Miller was awesome and she provided me with a lot of good information. The following morning I get a call just to check up on my dog and see how he was doing. I have to say that I genuinely appreciate that so much and think that is so nice of a vet office to do! Thank you woodworth for being an excellent place for people to take their animals.

I can give a thousand stars and thanks to the veterinarian, helper and all the staff. They bring the best service and attendance I ever experienced. They answered everything we needed and treated my babies and me very kindly.

They were extremely helpful took my father's dog there and when we left she was already feeling better personnel was very helpful polite they show great concern about the animals thank you all for your help and being there for the animals

We had an emergency with our geriatric Golden Retriever while on vacation in nearby Nellysford. We called around for anyone to check our pup out. They got us in immediately. The place was incredibly clean. The vet tech was outstanding. The vet was calming and provided clear direction for our doggos care. They also made a follow up call the next day to check up on how are pup was doing.

Today was my first visit to Woodworth Animal Hospital with my two dogs, Trip and Millie. I was welcomed inside with a smile and my dogs were comfortable as soon as they got out of the car. Dr. Callison is a person we all need. She has a fantastic personality and figured out my dogs pretty quickly using the back leg scratch. The quality is exceptional and the price was pleasing compared to our other veterinary visit elsewhere a year ago. I HIGHLY recommend coming here with your special animal.
