Apparently a lesser known place that affords you the perfect sunset pictures. Several picnic tables and marble benches are interspersed. Even a great opportunity to photo small shellfish and other sea life while waiting for the sunset. Definitely happy we found thus secret spot away from the Bar Harbor tourist spots.

What a beautiful spot to rest, eat, enjoy the harbor, and watch the sun set. My family and I loved the view! It was quiet, clean, and we had front row seats for the sunset on our last evening in Maine. Definitely a must!

Seal Cove Beach and Picnic area. Rocky 🪨 beach 🏖 with some Sandy areas. Water is very transparent and water is relatively warm to walk through when the tides are low. Cheers 🍻

Nice spot on the quiet side of MDI. Scenic cove area where you might see artists painting the landscape. There's a boat ramp there so it's easy to put a kayak in the water. Not bad also for bike riding as there's no traffic on the back roads though some are unpaved. There are wild blackberries growing if you follow the road around past the cove and go uphill a bit.

Beautiful sunsets.

You can see sea stars here and lots of little crabs and such. Great for families. Quiet and perfect.

Really nice secluded area. Perfect to bring lunch here, or just stop by and explore for a few minutes. Lots of seaglass as well.
