Crow’s Nest Drive-In

I never write reviews but this place was super helpful in meeting my dietary needs and preventing cross contamination from gluten. They say they have a dedicated dryer for their French fries which is awesome. Their burger patties have great flavor.

I went there as part of a road trip around the peninsula and the food was very good although the portion could have been a little larger. But what made my experience outstanding was the service, somehow my cards didn't work and I didn't have enough cash on me to pay for my meal, but the server helped me out big time so that I could still enjoy their food. Thank you again for the generosity and for giving me a little more faith in humanity! I'll make sure to pay it forward and to come back the next time I'm in the area!

This has always been a great stop on the way to the beach for Years, not sure why I haven't written about this place before?. Burgers are fresh and hearty, fries are hot and crispy, shakes think and cold. Don't expect a quick turnaround, everything is cooked to order. You won't be disappointed.

Stopped in on the way out to drop crab pots and go fishing. I ordered the Philly and fries and it was good. I'll try a burger like my buddy got.

Haven't eaten here in over 30 yrs...Food was awesome, service was great...at the drive thru. Hopefully next time they have their milkshake machine fixed

A pretty basic burger place, it was a nice option for good solid food after hiking in the Olympic mountains. The service was friendly, prices were reasonable, and the fries were especially good.

Stopped in from traveling, very pleasant staff and served our large group quickly and efficiently. Ordered the Fish and Fries Basket, nice huge chunks of fried wild Atlantic cod and some of the best thick cut fries I've had in a while. Potato Salad was ok, my standards are pretty high coming from Louisiana. I wish they sold a T-shirt.

After 4 years I found the best burger in Gray's Harbor. The Kid Cheeseburger Deluxe. Nice job

Friendly, respectful service each time we have been there. The cheeseburgers had the flavor of of drive-ins from a bygone era accompanied with flavorful fries and memorable milkshakes.

Good burger, reasonable prices. Staff was friendly, an easy pit stop near the highway.

Was there the other evening, and I noticed that there was only one person working drive thru and front counter by herself. You could tell she was frazzled, but she was super positive, super polite, so nice and sweet, and she was working her butt off!! She did amazing and provided great service!!

Made a pit stop here on a road trip, their vegetarian burger was delicious! Quick service and the fries were solid too. Milkshakes were delicious as well!

Happened upon this great family run restaurant on our way home from the coast. The nice people working there told us it had been there for 42+ years!

The food was what I remember from my childhood at the best burger places!

Burgers hot off the grill with melted cheese topped with ice-cold tomatoes and lettuce on a toasted bun! That great fry sauce for dipping big hot crispy fries in! Yum! And real hand dipped ice cream!

Their menu includes baskets, shakes and even breakfast earlier in the day! They also have a kids menu, seafood, hot/cold sandwiches, corn/hot dogs, Deep fried mushrooms, onion rings, big salads (Chef, taco...), assorted Mexican fast-food favorites, Budget Bandit Menu, Shakes/Malts/Floats, Sundaes, Banana Splits... Chocolate, Strawberry, Vanilla, Raspberry, Blackberry, Pineapple, Butterscotch, Root Beer, Hot Fudge Fresh Banana or Peanut Butter - all berry flavors made with high quality sliced berry syrups.

The Crows Nest sits less than 500' off Hwy 12/Olympic Hwy in Montesano Washington!

You have to stop!

I stopped here to use the bathroom and figured I'd grab a small burger to hold me over for the next 2 hours drive.

I decided to try the Crow's Nest Special. This burger almost took my life. It was so good I just about drove my car off the road. Luckily I was able to find a place to safely pull over and finish it. Though it took me another 15 minutes after finishing this amazing piece of Burger art to regain my composure and talk myself out of driving back to get another.

Anytime I'm passing through, I'm definitely coming back to get it again!

The service was amazing! Even though we pulled up 10-15 minutes to closing, they still served us and were really polite. The burger with bacon was phenomenal and full of flavor!

This has been our family's meal stop for 30 years on our way to the Oregon coast. I grew up loving this place and and now stop here with my own kids and family. Thank you for continuing to exist!

You're travelling down a highway and you see an exit for Small Town, USA and you think to yourself "Hmmm, wonder if they got a burger joint I can grab a bite to eat?". I do that randomly and sometimes I end up finding some of the most wonderful little places to eat. This time it was the "Crows Nest Drive-In", which I blinked and actually passed on my first pass through town. Came back around to verify that I saw a burger joint back there by the tracks. Place don't look like much, speaker at the drive through menu ain't working, gotta call in the order, but let's give it a whirl anyway.

Some chicken strips, salad, fries, cheese burger, more fries and a couple of bottles of milk...

First thing first... OMG! The Fries!!! <3 <3 <3 Best damn fries I've had in some time now. I could have just ordered the fries and been happy for the rest of the eve. Then I hit up the burger before I stuffed my fat face with all the fries and was pleasantly surprised. Not too juicy as to be dripping like a drowned cow, but enough to make ya drool a bit. Cheese, nice and melted, like icing on a cake. The chicken was crispy and golden as it should be and when you pulled it apart the steam just rose up and tugged at you to take a big ole bite out of it.

After eating, I thought I'd grab a couple of Malted Milk Shakes for us.. Been a long time since I've had a good old Malt and I was definitely not disappointed. A bit thicker than I prefer, but a wonderful treat to finish off the eve after eating.

The staff was wonderful and service was above and beyond the normal call of duty.

I will be going out of my way to drop by here every chance I get when I'm out and about wandering around Western Washington.

I only wish they had some outdoor tables to eat at. Was a wonderful eve and would have been topped off by sitting at a table outside to enjoy this meal.
