Great museum filled with great insight of the prisoner’s experiences at Andersonville. It’s a small museum but a great size packed with artifacts from various civil war battles.

This is an excellent small museum in a quaint historical area of town. A must see for history buffs. Woman that oversees museum is knowledgeable, and friendly. The historical area is a great place to checkout, everything is close, well done. Can have lunch at general store. There is a county ran RV/tent campground a couple blocks away, very nice place, quiet, safe.

I drove thru when everything was closed. I would love to go back when it is open. I just wonder if there is any paranormal activity there knowing alot of soldiers died in that area

A lovely place to stop and see a little true history. Winners of wars rewrite history. Highly recommend you speak with curator and then research the written history by the original authors. Southerners were treated worst than Northerners.
Learn history.

Greatly enjoyed this little museum housing some extremely rare artifacts from the civil war. My favorite part are the union and confederate uniforms on display because they have the information about the soldier who actually wore it., which makes the experience more personal and gives it a touch of life.
