Great food. Friendly, fast service. Several locally brewed beers. Awesome handmade cheese curds. Several unique entree items. Also loved the shark bites and fish and chips.

Wonderful food and atmosphere! Staff was super friendly and helpful. The poutine, fried fish, and Walleye were awesome! The fried fish fillets were huge! Definitely worth the price!

Enjoyed lunch with a great bloody mary. Friendly staff and good food in a sports like ale house. Will be back for sure.

This place is awesome. The staff was great and attentive despite being busy. Our table ordered flounder tacos, which were the best fish tacos we have ever had, garlic chicken Flatbread, wellington burger, and walleye sandwich. The sandwiches were served with French fries. Not you typical French fries, they are very small, crispy, curly fries. They were excellent. All the food was great and atmosphere is perfect. Brought our kiddos and they have some games to keep them busy while waiting. A must try!

2nd time here. Opened late yesterday due to being short staffed but was greeted with a smile. This was noted on facebook. Staff that was there was upfront about being short staffed, what food and beer options they did not have, which did not leave us guessing. Walleye sandwich was lightly battered and fried, soft bun, very good. Fresh walleye, still had a couple bones in it. Boneless wings - not a fan, think more taste buds than anything, very saucy. Chicken with balsamic glaze/garlic sauce flatbed. Forgot the balsamic glaze but they fixed it by giving us some on the side, very good as well.

The food was exceptional and the atmosphere seemed romantic, although there were plenty of families around.

My husband and I caught a Packer Game here on our way home from Door Co. There was one bartender/waitress and her husband, the chef, was the sole person in the kitchen; nonetheless, the food and drinks were great and the place has a nice ambiance.

Awesome food, A+ chef! Great service by young Great waitstaff.
I hope the politics don't run out all the rest the businesses in these great small towns.
It so sad to see what they've done with taxation in this beautiful part of the USA.

Great place in a cute little town. The server had great recommendations and an even better attitude and seemed to know the whole town like the back of her hand. Didn't get a chance to have any fish (only available Fridays) but the smoked meats were phenomenal. The only knock is a mediocre beer selection. I will definitely be coming back.

We ate here last year and the food was fantastic and the bartender was awesome. We were back in town last weekend and made sure to plan for a meal at the bar again. The menu is different but the food is still amazing and the staff is great. Highly recommend!

We've enjoyed Fish Tale in the past but this visit was even better. New ownership and a new menu but the same great staff. The burgers were nothing but delicious. The cheesecurds were the best I've ever had which is saying something in Wisconsin. The place has a welcoming atmosphere and the staff were just great. When we're in Algoma this is our go to place.

Visited during recent Packer Game with my family. Great place to watch the game with numerous TVs on display. The wait staff was engaging with my kids and made a memorable family dining experience. My older kids loved their burgers and I had the chicken special - wonderful food!

The soup was perhaps the best Beef Barley soup I've had (other than my moms) the pulled pork sliders very good, the salmon cakes worth a special trip and the chocolate stout made the day.

Service was very good. Well worth a trip from Green Bay.

We enjoyed their smoked pulled pork, brisket sandwich and cow candy. Loved trying their variety of BBQ sauces. Not a big fan of the cheese curds. They were different, almost creamy in the middle.

Huge open fairly modern space and great prices compared to what you'll find in Door County. Great selection of beers, including local ones from down the street. The pizza is awesome and the fish fry is above average, plus the staff were incredibly nice and helpful. Will definitely go back!

Good food, good service. My husband loved the cod fish and chips(Friday night). I had the spinach salad with shrimp. Both good dishes. 😊👍

Friendly staff! Well attentive to customers needs. They were short staffed from what the sign said on their door. However, the staff were amazing, on top of things and showed a team effort. Wonderful experience. Great job and good food!

My wife and I had the BLT, tomato bisque and chili cheese tater tots. The food tasted great. The food was served promptly and was hot. We would highly recommend.

Me and my wife and daughter stopped on the way to Sturgeon Bay. Waitress/bartender was super friendly, great atmosphere and great food. My daughter who is just over 2 had a great time running around and playing in the game room. Had such a nice time we stopped on the way home too!

Ordered various plates from Fishtale Ale House to go and none of them disappointed. The service was excellent. The plates were huge, the prices were perfect. When I ordered, I was told it would be ready in 25 minutes and it was. I timed my order perfectly as I was driving in from Green Bay and figured I should order 25 min before arriving to Algoma. If we come back to Algoma, we will definitely eat from this restaurant again.
