Raspberry Island Lighthouse

Eddie was great and knowledgeable. There are two great trails to hike though I didn't see any raspberries. Lots of mushrooms and fungus and a couple of outhouses. We were the only visitors that day. Great views and the ability to have a tour for $5. We skipped the tour and looked at their vegetable garden. Nice place for solitude to look at the horizon and see some sailboats.

This was our favorite lighthouse on the Apostle Islands tours - you can see this on both the lighthouses tour and the Grand Tours. The architecture and colors of this light makes it attractive.

Closed for the season, so you can't go inside, but a wonderful place to enjoy in the swing seasons. The view is forever.

Wonderful historical site.

The good is consistently great. The service is good, but not hovering. During the summer they are super busy and they don't take reservations, so be prepared to wait. Last time we were there, we sat in the "outdoors" bar (to the left of the host stand) and ordered drinks at the window.

Cool little spot in the beautiful islands! We didn't get a chance to tour the lighthouse because they charge a cash admission. As we were kayaking the islands, I had never thought once to bring cash. (Not like there's a 7-11out the after all). All that aside, the guide was friendly and told us a bit about the place anyway. Also, free croquet court for anyone whos up to having a good time! NOTE: there is a good kayak landing on the east side of the island. Much easier to take out there and hike in 1/4 mile than try your balancing act on the riprap at the dock
