Mountain Flour Bakery

We absolutely loved every flavor we got from Mountain Flour Bakery for our wedding! The cupcakes were delicious; apple spice, pink champagne and chocolate & PB. Pamela was SO helpful during the planning process and scheduled a tasting around our schedule since we're from out of town. We got a small semi-naked cake and it was so beautiful and delicious. The bakery also does small desserts, which we got for the rehearsal dinner and everyone loved them! Would highly recommend this bakery for your wedding!!!

We ordered a lemon blueberry naked wedding cake and it was not only gorgeous, the flavor was impeccable! Guests kept telling us this was the best cake they’ve ever had! 10/10

Our family came to Deep Creek Lake to celebrate our parents 60th wedding anniversary. I needed to find a bakery that was open on a Monday to purchase a cake, and thankfully this bakery was! Pam did an AMAZING job! I chose a design from her gallery of options (#25) and it was not only BEAUTIFUL, but it was absolutely delicious, a marble cake with buttercream frosting. I HIGHLY recommend her services!

Shawn was incredibly detailed and professional and communicated with us to ensure we had the perfect cake. When I entered my reception, the first thing I noticed was the cake and my jaw dropped. The cake was stunning and more beautiful than I ever could’ve imagined. Not only did it look amazing, but it also tasted great, I highly recommend Shawn to get your dream wedding cake.

Best cupcakes I ever had. I picked them up on July 26th, had my ceremony on July 28th. Delicious! Still very moist. I left for my honeymoon on July 30th, and got back a week later. Finally got back into the cupcakes today, August 8th and they're still good! Not dried out, as good as they were on the day of my wedding!

Pamela made us a delicious cake, and even when we had a cake issue from some rough driving back to the house, she stayed late and fixed the cake for us! The customer service was top notch! Thank you pamala for saving the day and the delicious cake!

Great birthday cake for my daughter. Beautifully decorated and delicious. We all agreed. It was the best cake we have ever tasted!

We were on vacation in the area looking for a birthday cake and I found Mountain Flour Bakery. I sent an e-mail to see if I could get a 1/4 vanilla sheet cake, whip icing and chocolate mousse filling for two days later. It was the best cake we have ever had. Thank you Pamela.

Her cakes are amazingly beautiful!! She takes great pride in her work! I have had things made for different occasions and it is the same everytime!! Delicious!! Almond is by far my favorite cake flavor

My daughter and her fiance went and had cake tasting today at the Mountain Flour Bakery and Pamela was so patient and understanding with my daughter and her fiance that we decided to go ahead and book this company for her August wedding. Pamela was a great host.

The cake I ordered for my parents 50th anniversary was perfect. The order was taken over the phone, so I didn't get to describe very well what I wanted. I pulled photos from their previous cakes and asked for a combination of multiple cakes. It came out perfect! Exactly what I wanted! Also, I was worried bc I didn't get to try the cake flavors before I ordered. I had two completely different cakes in each tier and they were amazing, just wish I'd ordered the Key Lime on the bigger tier...or the whole cake! My only complaint was with the pickup of the cake. The staff working in the bakery didn't seem to know where my cake was. It was sitting up on top of the bakery display window. The lady pointed to it and said "It's right there" and walked away. No-one attempted to help us get it down. Customer service was definitely lacking that day.

Good bakery, you can find some of the products in the ice cream store next door or the grocery near by. Wish we could’ve tried the chocolate strawberries.

I I found this shop online while searching for a local bake shop to order my husband‘s birthday cake while in deep creek. I looked at the review and wanted to give it a try. First of all, the service over the phone was just ok. Also, I was disappointed with the taste and decoration of the cake. It looked like an average grocery store cake and found it a bit pricey for what i have received. The icing was very sweet and the cake was dry. I asked for German chocolate cake but it did not taste like that at all.
