Augusta House of Pancakes

What a wonderful experience we had here on a busy Saturday morning!
After a few minutes wait, we opted for the counter instead.
Service was friendly, prompt, and helpful.
Food came out quickly and was delicious.
Highly recommend the cinnamon bun! Husband raved about his omelet and I enjoyed my scrambled eggs with peppers and onions. Bacon was perfect too.

This is THE BEST place for breakfast EVER!! Went twice during my big birthday week, the service was phenomenal, and the meals were just amazing. Doesn't matter if you choose the omelet or French toast (make it both!), and you won't regret it! (did I mention there are mimosas now?!)

Great place for breakfast. Great menu options. This is a very popular restaurant so plan to arrive there early for available parking and seating; otherwise prepare for a long wait. Good atmosphere.

My favorite breakfast place hands down. The food is so great its often hard to choose. Also one of the few places that offer corned beef hash which is a favorite of mine. You will never leave disappointed.

Im glad we chose a hometown business to try for breakfast, instead of a chain restaurant. It was busy, which is a good sign,,, but we received great service. The food was good, lots to choose from. Definitely liked this place.

Always good 😊 also saw a nice older couple that warmed my heart, so I felt compelled to give them $40 to pay for their food. He was a vet and she offered a couple to sit with them even though she didn't even know them! Kindness should be noticed 💖and I felt great to pass it on 🙂

Super friendly staff, even for a busy Sunday morning. Really tasty crepes, pancakes and omelets, and creative specials. Absolutely a step up over IHOP at comparable prices, and locally-owned to boot!

Pancakes were delicious 😋 this is my second visit and both times were great. Friendly staff kept my coffee refilled and great service.

When I say something has the best thing I've ever eaten, that's a high bar to get over. I ate a homemade waffle breakfast sandwich that was gone in about four bites. The corned beef hash was homemade, savory but not too salty. But one shared bite of the homemade buttermilk pancakes, blew, my, MIND! That one bite was so good, I ordered my own stack after finishing my own breakfast!

If there's a line, be patient and you will be rewarded with a breakfast you won't soon forget.

I never had pancakes stuffed with pinapple, strawberry and blueberry. They make their own 100% authentic maple syrup and white butter. ( My mouth is littery wattering while writing this review )

Hash browns were crispy and french toast flavour was spot on.

I wish I could have breakfast at this place everyday because not only food is amazing but prices are very very affordable

I've been to Ahop a few times. The service, food, and atmosphere are good!
It's typically really busy, but the service is still great. The waitresses are friendly and attentive. The food is excellent and they have huge portions so you'll leave full and satisfied!

This is the place to go for breakfast in Augusta. Family owned, family traditions, and great food. We try to get in at least once every trip to Maine, and it is a favorite meet-up spot for other family and friends in the area. The staff is excellent and very friendly, highly recommend.

Really enjoyed this local breakfast option as opposed to the big chains. They offered some different & fun menu options. Very accommodating with our two young children. Service was fast & friendly. All the things I want in a breakfast experience. Coffee was good too! Forgot to take pictures of the food because we are it so quick. Husband had Monte Cristo & loved it. I had a big Western omelette (4 eggs!). Will definitely be back.

This place is amazing. Homey food and atmosphere. Best breakfast place I’ve ever been to. Only downside is cash only, but they have an ATM right up front. I normally order for pick up. It is always ready within 10 minutes. 10/10 would recommend

Gluten-free options!!! Had a slice of French toast and six silver dollar pancakes — both gluten-free. They as have GF blueberry muffin and GF white bread. Eggs cooked perfectly and the best hash browns in Maine. We will be back if we are in the area. And Tasha is a great waitress. Works her butt off. ♥♥

We went on mothers day so it was pretty busy, but the wait wasn't more than fifteen minutes. the service was prompt and courteous. the food was delicious, with decent sized servings. the price was good, no more than i would expect to pay at other places in the area.

I just had a great breakfast and great service. The Western omelet and home fries along with the Green Mountain coffee were all delicious. My waitress Jenny, took care of everything like a professional. Highly recommended.
