Emerald's Fine Food & Libations

Wow what a fantastic time we had. Moved to Iowa 3 years ago and this was by far the BEST restaurant of all we have been to. There were 6 of us. We moved to Iowa from the cities in Minnesota and used to go out to eat at the finest restaurants and Emeralds definitely is on par with big city restaurants. Dan, we love you 💕 we are glad you were our server ❣

Everything was incredible! Loved the baked cookie with ice cream. It takes a while as they bake it when you order it, so make sure to to order before you finish your amazing meal!

Very nice place, atmosphere excellent. Food was outstanding. Hubby got filet, said it was in his top 5. I got the walleye, very good 1st time eating it. Salad and soup bar was wonderful quality Very simple but very good. I had a bowl of tomato bisque excellent.

Great restaurant and food. Our server wasn't fantastic. We had to ask for refills several times. When she brought the ticket, she separated the meals on the same ticket and took our credit cards, and didn't take the time to clarify which card needed to cover what portion. The meals didn't cost the same, so we had to work it out between us.

Excellent food. Korean beef soup is top notch. Nice atmosphere. Server was on top of it the whole night.

I would give emeralds fine food and libations a five for their amazing service. Not sure what our waitress's name was but she was great. I got the PB&J burger which was very tasty and my husband tried their chicken tenders. The portobello mushrooms were lovely as an appetizer. Would recommend

Had the special , steak with hollandaise sauce with lobster and crab. it was awesome!

Busy night. Must have been Prom night. Our waitress did alright, although it was busy I feel she could have checked in on our table. I ate the salmon pasta and it was perfection!

Stopped in for the first time and had lunch with a coworker at Emerald's. Great place. Lunch menu had many options. Had the shrimp po'boy wrap. Pretty darn good. Looks like a nice place for your evening meal to. Give them a try when you are in Algona. I will be back.

First visit, and really enjoyed it. We had a large group, and the waitress did a great job.

We celebrated our anniversary at Emerald's in July 2018. Our waitress was non other than Emerald herself who apologized for them being out of the fillet. Instead they were offering a prime rib which I ordered. It was quite possibly the best prime rib I have ever had. Perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection! Additionally, the serving was a bit larger than I expected! The environment is casual but classy. Emerald was an excellent and attentive waitress. We will most definitely be coming back for our next anniversary but will schedule it around a night when I know the prime rib is available.

Great place to eat and have a few cocktails. The kitchen and serving staff are great and friendly people. They make you feel welcome! The food is GREAT! Pay them a visit and see for yourself. I would suggest a call ahead, as they do get busy.

We dine at Emerald's at least once a week. The food and atmosphere are awesome. The prime rib dinner and Swiss chicken sandwich are my favorite. Great soups and salad bar. The servers are friendly. I would highly recommend Emerald's to anyone visiting the area!

Great place for yourself, a group, or family. Great choice, great food. Salad bar us small, but mighty. A must have. DO NOT forget the soup

Everyone had a steak cooked with different temperatures and they came out perfect.
Sweet potato fries also good.
They could do an awesome business on Sundays during football season with food like this!!!!

Emeralds never disappoints. They have a broad selection on their menu and you can't go wrong with any of the items. The Portobello mushroom appetizer is amazing! A steak is not complete without the bourbon sauce. They have the best salad bar in town and always have delicious and creative soups. Their staff knows how to treat customers and their bar is one of the nicest around.

I Love Emerald's! The nice hostess greets you and seats you. The steak salad is Amazing...their "famous" tomato soup--DElish! Molly, one of the owners, is so friendly and engaging with her customers. And, Chad, the other owner, makes THE most tender, juicy chicken and steaks. YUM! The Bartenders are great! All of these things just keep us coming back. 5 STARS!
