Ochoa's Mexican Restaurant

I am always satisfied with the family friendly atmosphere at Ochoa’s. The food is hot and fresh! You won’t be disappointed. Prices are fantastic and the wait is minimal though that may have been the time of day we went. We’ve recommended it and brought other people here too. Thank you for providing a good experience more than once to Ochoas.

Our favorite Mexican restaurant in Texas. Great atmosphere, excellent service, wonderful food. I highly recommend the jalapeño margarita. We always get a couple dozen tamales to take home. It’s half an hour from home, but we make sure to go at least once a month.

The food was great, the chips are thin and crispy and the salsa seasoned perfectly with just the right amount of heat. The wait staff was wonderful from the hostess to our waitress Bailey who did an awesome job.

Kristina was our waitress. She is awesome. Food is great and reasonably priced. Sala was the best I have had. Cheese enchiladas had a great chili sauce. Wife had Chile relleno and said it was great. Will definitely be back!!!

Came in with a group of 8 and a baby. Our waitress was great keeping up on drinks and salsa and keeping an eye on us. We stayed maybe an hour and half or so. But the entire experience was great! All of the staff we interacted with was super friendly and they seemed genuine!!!

Really good spot for spot on Mexican cuisine. This place has been in Athens for 53 years so you know you are getting a solid meal from a place that's been doing it that long.

Everyone that works there are very nice. Jose is one of the best waiters there, he always makes sure he brings things to the table that you need before you ask for it! The food is always great too!

Ochoa's never disappoints! Been coming here for as long as they've been open, and coming back for a visit reminds me of the good old days with my grandparents. Mexican Tacos are top tier and always will be, as well as their margaritas. Service is always exquisite!!
Sad to hear about the state of the Malakoff location, but the Athens location is still authentically the Ochoas family!! Will make sure to come support them whenever I can.

We love this Ochoa’s more then the others. The smell atmosphere service people food salsa and chips are all worth driving a distance for

**Warning** The green sauce does not play! It's so hot, my eyes teared up, my face was red and sweating, it was good but so very hot.
Other than the molten lava hot green sauce, the food was delicious. The service was perfect, our waiter was fast, polite and treated us like we were the only customers there on a very busy Saturday night. We will definitely go back next time a road trip takes us through there.
