Love this place. I took my little girl on a dinner date. The workers were amazing and friendly and the food was great and prices reasonable

Best place to eat for locals. Try to go back there to eat every chance we get.

Always a family favorite for years.

First of all if you are expecting some kind of traditional Mexican food, there are two of those places in Alva. They are good but the American style crispy tacos at Taco Village are so good.

Taco Village tacos are the best most unique tasting tacos in America. And yes, crispy tacos with ground beef is strictly an American take on the original soft taco.

The enchilada con carne chili sauce is exceptionally good. They beat the offerings at the other two places in town.

The combo taco enchilada plate with refried beans is my usual order. Very interesting flavor, not expensive and worth your time.

I love the review ripping the food and hating the long lines. Wonder why the long lines? Because it’s awesome!

Best fake Mexican restaurant this side of the Salt Fork River! I grew up in Alva, and I have a deep appreciation for their canned nacho cheese, microwaved burritos, and soggy lettuce. I understand cheap/fake Mexican isn't for everyone, but those who were raised on/around it will always find it to be the guilty pleasure they just can live without. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a quick bite and aren't Gordon Ramsey.

I love this place. It's 95% a local thing. Despite how many Mexican restaurants are in Alva, this was many of our first "Mexican" food we had. That's one of the reasons it's loved by locals. But hands down some of the nicest staff!!

This place is really good I'm. I remember eating there is a small child and the tastes of the food has not changed. And that's due to the original owner who did the same thing and preparing the food now as they did back when I was a small child. It's like taking a step back in time. Keep it up Taco Village.

This place is an experience! Best to come here with friends! One of my favorite memories ever at this place! A gem of Western Oklahoma! Don’t miss out and stop in!

Absolutely love this place! It's been a favorite since I was a child. I always have to stop here when in town. A friend of mine drives an hour and a half (one way) just to eat at Taco Village.

This Rick Freeman must have a real burr under his saddle. Taco Village announces ("yells") your name when your food is ready to be retrieved at the pick up window. Same way as McDonald's 2 blocks away announces ("yells") your order ticket number. Taco Village has never designed to have a "wait staff." It has more economical food that way. The food is totally home made and has been remarkably consistent Tex-Mex for over 40 years.

A local landmark. It’s midwestern Mexican at its best. Great place to eat and catch up on the local gossip. Tacoritas, Salas and taco burgers are our family’s favorites. We usually bring home quarts of the salsa.

This is one of my favorite Mexican resturants in Alva! I you people expect it to be cooked you need to GO SOME WHERE ELSE. The hours are very consistent and works fine for me. You people just dont understand Alva Oklahoma

It is a unique concept of mexican food but I grew up eating there and love it, we go there every time we are back home.

If you grew up on it,then you'd understand the obsession people have for it! When my daughter was stationed in Germany all she could talk about is how I could send her some taco village food!
