I had a bad experience with a "manager" here awhile back who is related to the owners. Chose to let it go. Gotta say, I'm a little embarrassed, but I'm a regular. I get off work and this is one of only a few places open. The staff since my bad night is nothing short of incredible. I came through one night and their system had crashed. They couldn't ring anyone up. They went ahead and made my order. Said they were happy I always came in. Just take it and have a good night. Gave them more than it would have been and told them to ring it when they could.

Good workers are hard to find right now. The manager I dealt with should probably take a lesson from the strong staff under her. Good people working here, which keeps me coming back.

I love Checkers! I actually worked for them back in 1994. They have great food. It' so good that I keep going back more often. And the service is great as well. I highly recommend them! 😁 Just need to clean up a little more by their outside tables. 😉 👍

Sorry guys... I had to rate a 1 on atmosphere because there's only tables available outside, so there's really no atmosphere to speak of. The food is great however and the workers seem happy. Gotta check out the fries!

Very polite and attentive when I had an issue with my transaction the manager was professional and curtious.

This is the hub's and my new go-to spot when in Avon Park. The Baconzilla is killer!! He leans towards the Big Buford.....though I polished off that sweet, sweet bacon myself!! The loaded fries are also worth it. While there, the staff was fantastic. They were friendly, courteous and personable. I ordered a large strawberry mango type drink and they let me know they were out of large cups for those. This doll instead gave us two mediums, which was much more than just the large. She DID NOT have to do that. That was so sweet. She also let me know about the satisfaction survey on the back of the receipt. I gave them all high marks AND got an offer for free food at the end (a redeemable coupon).

This must be an all new crew from the last time I was there, because this new one is A++++++. The 2 employees I I especially want to recognize are: the first contact was with a young lady with a leather Yves St. Laurent face mask (she was SWEET!!!) and the other young lady had longish blonde hair. These two ladies made our experience fantastic. This is the main reason we will be returning multiple times!!!! Keep up the great work!!!!

I'm a Brit living in Avon Park, hands down this place does the best fast food burger around.. far better than the equivalent 5 guys which people rave about.

Ok u want awesome chicken sandwiches order number 7 an if you like lil spicy order number 11 my hubby n I order number 7s once a day have for a month now n I go n order number 11 here n there best sandwhiches compared to other places around here I kid you not I wouldn't waste my money if it was nasty so for real give em a try omg an they are fast an get everything right Everytime we go there

OMG. their Smokey Bacon Buford (I ordered it double meat) hamburger is out of this world!!! PLUS I really like their loaded fries!

Love this location. Plenty of shade in case you want to park your car and enjoy the scenery. They are very fast in the drive thru. Pleasant staff.
