Peace of Pie Pizzeria

This place was fantastic!!!! The atmosphere and the food was amazing! The cheese sticks were HUGE and had a buttery garlic taste which was so good!!! We created our own 12” thin pizza (sausage, pepperoni, onion & green pepper)….it was amazing….we brought home the left overs! If you’re in the area and you LOVE pizza you gotta try this place!

I really love peace of pie and think the new owners have done a great job. However, today threw me off. The interaction I had with one of the young ladies was off. I paid for my pizza and one of the girls came up to the counter and grabbed my order right as I reached for it after being rung up by the cashier. She gave me a weird look and asked if I had paid for the food. Her tone was very rude. I told her yes and she then turned to the cashier and asked her very rudely “where’s the receipt?” Just an odd experience considering everyone always seems kind. This young lady just struck me as snappy.

What a gem! We decided to give their pizza a try after a recommendation, and boy, are we glad we did! We will be back.

Order ahead! The staff was polite on the phone, and when I picked up my pizza. The pizza is always so good! And get the cheese sticks with your order!! it's a cheese pizza cut up into strips that matches perfectly with the pizza you order. Also get the ranch and marinara with your order, so good!

OH MY GOODNESS, you have to try out this place. The service is always warm and inviting, the food is always beyond words of appreciation. If I could, I would give them a hundred stars. Dine-in, take-out, whichever you decide you will not be disappointed. AND I FOUND OUT THAT THEY HAVE DESSERT PIZZA AS WELL!!!!!😋

I had a friend recommend this place and it did not disappoint. I ordered ahead, it was busy when I arrived because it was close to closing but every employee did their best to get everyones food out quickly. all of the food was fresh, hot and delicious. the employees were friendly and very welcoming, I definitely recommend anyone to try it out!

Excellent pizza. Highly recommend, friendly people. The decor and vibe isn't really my style, but that's ok. They have gluten free options, which is great.

Tasted pies all over the world and this small town establishment has big city flavor. There veteran-owned and have quality ingredients. If you live close this is a local business worth supporting.

Best pizza I've had hands down. Cheese sticks are awesome too. Prices aren't too bad either. I just wish they were open every day. But just being open on the weekends kind of gives my family a special treat. Plus they treat their employees awesome.

Picked up two pizzas for carry out, and what really stuck with me about my brief experience was just how kind the staff were. I’m not talking your typical small talk niceties. I mean they were sincerely nice. It was a nice change from the usual pizza experience I’ve had at other places.

We go to this place every time we are in Gretna VA for a ride. Their pizza is great! Definitely worth a stop in!

Flawless customer service. This town is lucky to have a place like this. Top tier taste for an affordable price. If you don’t usually budget date night food often, this is really the only place in town that’s worth it, so don’t waste your money with somewhere else. Keep crushing it!

Service was amazing. Prices are very reasonable. The pizza is the best in town. The atmosphere was very relaxed. Good music, friendly staff. It was our first experience with this establishment, and we have a household of very picky eaters. Peace of pie is our new go to pizzeria.

It was our first time trying this pizzeria. Ordered 4 pizzas, they made a slight mistake and only saw 3 on the ticket. They were so sweet and apologetic and made the missing pizza so fast, and comped it for my wait. Mistakes happen and I would have been happy to still pay for it but they insisted. I got home and those pizzas were SOOOO GOOD! We love a good pizza and we’re so excited to give it a try! We were not disappointed and the folks working are so so nice!!

I am very hard on pizza places. Tough to impress, I ran a pizza place in my 20s and it was awesome. Peace of Pie makes the best pizza I have had in years. The sauce is perfect, the dough is as well. Your toppings are on there in a serious way. Do not cheat yourself and go get some corporate pizza that tastes like the box it came in. The service was what you would come to expect in Altavista. Very friendly, personable and smiling. Someone had their little girl in there and teaching her buying and selling. I bought cheese pretzels from the little girl and encouraged her to keep it up. My wife and son were also blown away by this pizza. Knowing I can get some of the best pizza in the state in little old Altavista makes living here even better.

Always going to love this restaurant. Everything is always perfect.
