The M29 Diner

My wife and I are willing to drive over 25 miles one way to eat here. It has always been top notch. The service is superior; super friendly and willing to help ordering. Home cooking at a reasonable price and great people. Definitely worth the drive.

This place is always great and the food is delicious

Friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Enticing daily specials. I went on a Tuesday to try their puffy tacos. They didn't skimp on ingredients but there was only ground beef, not chicken. It was $7.99 for the platter that had two puffy tacos, Mexican rice, and refried beans. All quite tasty and more than I could eat at one sitting. I took home a deliciousl slice of rhubarb custard pie for later.

We went here for the first time today after driving past it multiple times lately and I'm so glad we did. The food was amazing and the ladies working were so sweet. We felt so welcomed the second we sat down and it was very cozy and clean inside. You can tell the staff truly care about the customers. I got the M29 as a skillet and it's quite possibly the best skillet I've ever had. My fiancé got a cheese burger and cheese fries, he said the burger was fresh and very much a homemade burger. The fries were great too! Everything came to the table steaming hot. I highly recommend M29 diner, we will absolutely be back soon! Great employees and amazing food, it's a win-win!

Best patty melt I've ever eaten. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Took quite a while to get a menu and didn't get a coffee refill, but I'll definitely be back.

My brunch at The M29 Diner was a delightful surprise! The pancakes were a fluffy, golden dream, and the soup was a warm and comforting bowl of perfection. It's not often you find a place that excels at both breakfast and lunch options, but this diner nailed it. The cozy atmosphere and friendly service made it a spot I'll return to when I crave a bit of everything on the menu.

Favorite diner in Michigan, with a fun and loving staff. You can feel that the owners take pride in their business and truly care about their customers. I travel for work and always stop by at the M29 Diner, every visit! Breakfast all day, loads of different specials, and you gotta try their desserts - to die for!

Nice little homestyle, Cafe where everyone is treated like family the service is excellent the food is just as good I recommend this place to people all the time

Love this place! Best breakfast around hands down. Irish omelette is my go to. Skillets are great and kids love the pancakes and French toast. Prices are good as well. Will definitely be back next weekend!

Small diner with big taste and great value. Very crowded inside. Kitchen gets food made pretty fast despite how packed it was in there. Staff is friendly, but busy. This diner does carryout too! Parking lot is awkward.

I had an egg/sausage breakfast. My wife had the taco salad. Both were perfect.

Waitress was there quickly and never let us have to wait for anything.

Had a great father's day breakfast here. My French toast was the exact dinner breakfast that I wanted. My wife gave her eggs Benedict a 3.5/5 stars, the sauce was a bit to lemony.

Food was very tasty pleasant waitress.

Don't know how I've been in the area so long and never stopped in, thankful to my friend bringing me here for lunch. Food was delicious, I had the veggie omelette, it was outstanding, filled with fresh vegetables, my friend's blt wrap was very good, and the coffee was great, I drink mine black and it's very good coffee, waitstaff was very attentive and friendly. Will be back soon!

Found this place and loved it. Amazing food and service was great

Overall the best food around and fresh. Our waitress was nice and gave us plenty of time to eat considering we had not noticed the day we arrived they closed early that day and we as a family were cutting into their after hours time. I did apologize as we did not notice the time of closing. As we were leaving another manager/worker had offered our little ones some free cupcakes and was a nice addition to our visit. Thanks for providing my family and I with awesome service as we are moving to Arizona this month and honestly will miss your cooking 😊

Excellent food service and portions

Came here for lunch and it was our first time here. We were not disappointed. Food was delicious and service was great! Definitely a waterfront and diner feel when you are inside.
