Cantina Louie (Fernandina Beach, FL)

My fiancé and I ate here today, this was our first time and experience here and it was amazing. McKenzie was a great and professional server and was patient with us during our entire visit, she really made our dinning experience even better.. We traveled from GA looking for great food and we found even great food and service by coming here…. Thanks McKenzie and the cooks as well…

We had an early dinner so it wasn't packed but there was a decent crowd. Our service was great and our food showed up quickly and was fantastic and plentiful. Definitely recommend

We had a group of 40 visiting Amelia island for an event and I called a month in advance to see if our large party could be accommodated. The restaurant does not accept reservations but we’re able to get us all seated at the promised time in the outdoor seating area. Food was fantastic and service was outstanding given the large party. Atmosphere is laid back and the murals and artwork give this place a very unique and fun vibe.

The food is always delicious, hot, fresh, and served fast. The fajita burrito covered in queso is my favorite, and my husband loves the surf & turf burrito, which are served with fries, and they are really good fries considering its a Mexican restaurant. 😁

My server Briana was an excellent server, and the food was yummy! She was very sweet and took excellent care of my Husband & I. Definitely would come again. I recommend sitting outside.

The place is simply gorgeous! Every decor and paint is stunning. Resembles the Mexican culture beautifully! The food is delicious and our server Sasha was amazing! She was super cool. The drive from Midway Georgia was worth every second to eat at this place. Prices are very good and plates are very succulent. They have outdoor covered seating as well. And fountain water and trees around! We simply loved this place.

One of my favorites for Mexican and the outdoor seating os large and covered. Outdoor area has room to keep the little ones entertained. I had the Tropical and Mahi tacos both were delicious.

This is SUCH a fun environment with the string lights and sugar skulls EVERYWHERE! The food is outstanding and very wallet friendly!! Chips and salsa and queso are 10/10. Margaritas are delightful and inexpensive!! The wait staff are extremely knowledgeable and friendly!

Great Mexican for a very reasonable price. Definitely recommended for families or those on a date. The steak fries nachos were unique and delicious. The various tacos we ordered were fresh and flavorful. They run daily specials, so worth paying attention too.
Will back again for sure.

Me and my friends are constant customers of this location as the food and service is always exceptional! Tonight when we went, our server was Brianna and she went above and beyond for us ! She was consistent and made sure we had everything we needed all while maintaining a positive attitude and keeping up with our jokes and laughter ! Amazing service from her and had this been our first time eating here, she’d have us secured for a second meal there !

The food and service were excellent. Cantina Louie was highly recommended by friends and family, and our experience was exceptional. The prices were very good for what we ordered. The queso is a must. I would definitely order the chicken chimichanga again as well.

Trust me, it's not just plain food presentation, my taste buds told me that it's worth finishing to the last bite. I'd say Cantina Louie is one of my two favorite Mexican Restaurants now. Their carnitas are superb! 💯

Great atmosphere and vibe. Really enjoyed the murals and other artwork. The drinks were good, and so was the food.
We had the street tacos, and the cantina Louie salad. The 1862 was a pretty tasty margarita.

The street taco basket was so yummy that I ordered it on both my visits.

Love Cantina Louie! Make sure to come every time I'm in town. The food is delicious, the drinks are strong, the service is amazing and the atmosphere is perfect.

12-31-2022 The waiter was nice but did not get his name and he did not come over to refill our drinks. Food is excellent. Gorditas and tamales are highly recommended.

Great food, great atmosphere, great service.
If your in the area, you should stop in and try for youself.

I'm not a big fan of restaurant Chips and Salsa. Though there's was actually pretty good. There "Hot Surfer Chick" taco was really good and so was the "Pineapple Al Pastor" ( I added shrimp to it, it cost $2 to add 2 shrimp) The "Surf and Turf" taco was ok, I wish it had the pineapple salsa on it, it was kinda bland. The atmosphere is awesome and the restaurant is really well designed. Makenzie was was awesome today and was super polite and easy going! It's been a while since I've posted this review and I'm now updating it but we co.e here a bunch, especially on taco Tuesday! Sometimes the salsa can be watery bt is still my favorite and the only restaurant chips and salsa I will eat.

Sat outside this evening. Perfect weather. Brianna, our server was prompt, courteous, answered all our questions. She repeated our order and made necessary changes. Food order was exactly as we ordered. Our fajitas were served hot and steaming which insured our last bite was as hot as the first. Love sitting outside when weather permits.
