Great service and the invigorating turmeric latte and delicious Swiss and Ham Croissant just made me feel so happy and delightful. What a treat! Especially a day like today that it rained most of the day. Thank you Market Square Bakehouse!

An enjoyable little cafe that serves all types of coffee ☕. Pastries, 🥪 sandwiches, tea 🍵 and canned and bottled drinks available. Friendly service! WiFi available.
I had the medium roast coffee with three donut muffins to wash it down. Both tasted good.
This place can get very busy! People were using the outdoor seating to enjoy their purchase.
I liked the lighting fixtures. Large mason 🫙 jars with a small 💡 lightbulb inside.
Bathroom is handicap accessible and has a baby changing 🚼 table.
Prices reasonable. I recommend a visit.

Stopped by for lunch and the paninis were great. This was a great spot to get something to eat and get a drink. We left pretty refreshed. My wife is picky about chai and she loved it. My iced coffee was everything you'd want in a medium roast. There were a variety of sweetener options. Wifi was available and the bathroom was clean. The staff were friendly. My K2 kept saying it was the best lunch ever (chips helped get that review). We were in Feb but I can see the outdoor space working well when it's warmer.

Favorite place in the whole town ♥ while Bakehouse isn't the cheapest, the food quality and offerings, atmosphere, and staff are top-notch. Highly recommend the blueberry scones (with frosting, of course) and their chai lattes. So thankful to have a special place like this in the center of historic downtown Amesbury!

This is my favorite café on the north shore! The pastries are amazing and they serve Kaha coffee, which is local and delicious. I have come in to work, to meet friends, or to get a cup of coffee with my kids, and am always warmly welcomed. The outdoor seating is picturesque in good weather.

Carrot cake muffin, delicious.
Chipotle breakfast wrap, great.
Peanut butter chocolate chip cookie, great.
Could improve packaging for takeout - tightly wrapped my muffin (with icing) in pastry paper - I understand the intention was to avoid smearing onto the other items, but almost all of the icing came off onto the paper and I needed to (very messily) reapply icing… perhaps use a little tray or barrier to keep it upright and not touch other items?

It's good coffee. Not strong, not soft. Best please for breakfast.

Market Square bakehouse is amazing! The pastries are perfection, solid $5 breakfast sandwiches, delicious coffee drinks and a fantastic atmosphere. It really pulls together downtown Amesbury and is a staple for the community. Also did I mention that literally everyone who works there is super nice?!

I only wish it was open in the evenings as well, especially on weekends.

Local Amesbury independent coffee shop and bakery. They have a good selection of specialty coffee drinks and baked goods. Service is fast and the atmosphere is roomy with a good relaxing. . It’s right in Amesbury center with outdoor seating in front. Can get busy put good plug in and wifi for laptop user.

I loved this place. The Airbnb we were staying at left a $10 gift card to this cafe so we decided to check it out and were pleasantly surprised. We ended up going twice during our stay.
We went around 10:00 am both times and found a line 5-10 people long each time. I only purchased food items, so I can't comment on the beverages but others there seemed pleased.
We had two of their paninis, salad, quiche, gluten free brownie, and berry scone. All of them were delicious. I highly recommend this place if you're in the area.

You can't go wrong if you go to Market Square Bakehouse. It is very popular for good reasons. Everything we ate was according to expectations. It is such a pity this place does not have a decent espresso machine to make the experience even better.

Delicious in-house roasted coffee. Good for the waking hours of the day, or the evening focus.

Basically a must-visit if you're in downtown Amesbury. Very nice cafe with really good food and coffee. Their menu consists of many specials that rotate often, so there's always a reason to come by and check it out again.

Seating inside is cramped, but it's hardly an issue since there's plenty of gorgeous and picturesque seating outside.

Killer cold brew and delicious baked goods. The blueberry scone was so good. Piping hot breakfast egg wrap was a big portion and spicey mayo was awesome! 👍

Great coffee, good open space with high ceilings, comfortable, perfect spot to set up and get some work done. AMAZING outdoor patio area too!

Most amazing scones with real flavor and crispy crunchy edges!!! Sandwiches are surprisingly delicious and we highly recommend the breakfast wrap with bacon and sriracha is my very favorite, followed by Turkey sandwich. The coffee (CountrrCulture) is fresh and delicious. Staff is very pleasant and patient. Outside tables are perfect if you have a doggie with you!

We stopped in to buy a bag of Kaha coffee, and it was nice that they give a complementary small coffee with each bag purchased so we got to try their coffee. The atmosphere was nice and the staff was really kind and helpful.
