So good we came back twice in one weekend when visiting Anacortes! Great fresh and tasty breakfast. Their fresh pastries are soooo good too. Highly recommend the triple berry scone.

I really enjoyed this visit, I believe if your going to give a negative review then when you have a great experience the review should be as quick.

The lady I care for wanted to come to Calico for breakfast, and I was hesitant because of my last experience was disappointing.

However this morning we had a great experience, we were greeted immediately, and sat shortly after, we were asked if we wanted coffee, the coffee was delivered immediately and then about 10 minutes later our server took our order, she was friendly and informed about the menu, which was helpful because my sweetie and I go to the Calico in Mount Vernon and share a meal and I wasn’t sure which one it was and our servers knowledge about the menu helped me narrow down my choice and it was exactly what I have ordered in the past.

The food was excellent.

Another thing that was really was awesome the hostess sat us at a table with cushions which was excellent for my client who is 92, Thank you for that it really helped her enjoy her dining experience.

I look forward to returning, the service seems to
Have improved just as simple as being welcomed when we arrived makes such a big difference.

Some people just want to know they have been seen & acknowledged.

Got this recommendation from a friend and drove all the way to anacortes. A reservation system will be much easier but waited for about 25 mins for a table. Ambience is good. There’s indoor and outdoor seating. I ordered the Pesto Focaccia Scramble and I’m mind blown with how it tasted. They source ingredients from locally owned farms. There was a great mix of various veggies with a hint of pesto. I’m definitely going back for this.
Other order was a Smothered Omelette. It was quite bland but the sauce on the side was giving it a bit of flavor. Portion sizes are quite big. Great place for breakfast or brunch

My Family & I took a mini vacation the weekend of March 17-19 2023. My parents have been to this restaurant before so we came here. we absolutely love this restaurant the food is great, (this is a breakfast an early lunch restaurant they close around 2 p.m.) it was really an absolutely amazing place I highly suggest trying to English tea and give it to you in a cool little teapot. They give you a lot of food and it's all delicious and they sell tremendous amount of desserts and other items in the front of the store for those with the sweet tooth. It gets busy so try to get there for 9 a.m. if you're going for breakfast. I had the oatmeal which was a delight! Everyone because you absolutely cannot go wrong with this joint.

I really liked the food! The waiter was really kind and the food was good. They had a bunch of drink options, which my parents were excited about. I tried a sip of the huckleberry lemonade and it was very good. I got the French toast, and I was happy with it! I would love to come back in the future.

Delicious pastries and friendly staff. Sit down dining was busy on Sunday morning. Just got items to go and they were delicious! Knew from the smells half a block away that this place would be great.

Loved it. The food is perfect. We were there for brunch. The bathrooms are clean and have hooks and shelves very thoughtfully designed. There’s plenty of parking and enough seating.

Stopped here for a quick breakfast to go before we caught the ferry. The lady at the counter was super sweet and made an amazing chai recommendation for me (black scottie - I ended up buying a bottle to take home) and equally delicious coffee recommendation for my hubby (the snickers bar late is not on the menu). The breakfast sandwiches were great and very good size. Would love to go back and try more of the menu.

Fantastic Food!!! A fruit cup worth eating... the salmon scramble had enough salmon, and the bacon was top shelf! I will eat there more often now that I know about the place!

The paper straw in my Dr Pepper was silly, and turned soggy mid meal... please, I went there for food, not some silent strange eco political statement... guess I'll bring my own straw next time.

Scrumptous bakery items, cinnamon rolls & frosted sugar cookies are to die for! Excellent clam chowder, generous sized sandwich & salads! We've enjoyed various breakfast items, all wonderful, with a friendly staff & atmosphere.

We stopped by today looking for something fresh and delicious and we were not disappointed! Amazing avocado toast and coffee. Awesome customer service, so friendly and down to earth. Great vibe all around. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re passing through.

Huge portions of food and looked like a large array of desserts to choose from. Great place for a hearty breakfast before spending the day exploring.

This place was recommended to us by a friend and it did not disappoint. We were visiting over the border from Vancouver, BC, Canada and even with the exchange rate we felt like the food was good value for the money. With a charming country-cozy interior decor, choc-a-block with farm-style wood tables, lots of seating and nice nooks and corners, Calico was great just to be inside.

The menu was so varied, there was something for everyone, and the portion sizes were outstanding (the clubhouse sandwich even satisfied the bottomless pit of my teenage son’s appetite). I could see it even being too much for some people!

We arrived just before peak lunch hour and that was a good thing, as it got busy quickly. Would recommend going off-peak hours for easiest access.

I love this place. Always great service & delicious food, not a basic eggs & bacon place. Lots of fresh local ingredients, and lots of gluten-free items. And very good coffee!

A fantastic place for breakfast. I got the Brussels sprout hash with bacon and poached eggs and it did not disappoint. The blueberry pancakes were a huge portion and were delicious. The service was friendly and quick and the restaurant itself was very warm and welcoming. Would highly recommend!

Incredible food. Fresh, high quality ingredients. Friendly service, lovely atmosphere. Only downside was that I was only in town for one breakfast!

This place was worth the wait. I had Linda's Brother in Law's Hash and got a peanut butter bar and lemon bar to go. It was all delicious!

Perfect place for breakfast. The staff makes you feel right at home and the food is fantastic. I definitely recommend this place. This is the best place hands down for breakfast in Anacortes. The portions are huge and the food is flat out amazing! We ate there 4 days in a row and ordered something different every day and everything we ate was incredible!

Really good breakfast food. I had an omelet with potatoes. Very good. Lots of fresh baked items. Cinnamon rolls! Are amazing. Friendly staff and nice open atmosphere.
