River's Coffee House

Such a cute place in the small town of Ashville!!! The house made pastries and food all looked incredible (we tried several things and enjoyed everything!) and the coffees (with house made syrups) were great! Will definitely be back!

Just phenomenal! Ever since I tried them, I now crave the biscuits and gravy! All of it is made in-house and you can see the owner’s culinary skills just in the delicious way the biscuits peel apart, much less how they actually taste in your mouth. If you can tell it’s a good biscuit just by the look then you know your taste buds are in for a treat. The cinnamon buns are another favorite and the donuts are also outstanding. Needless to say, I got myself a punch card because I’ll be back and back!

The food is made from scratch and with love (you can definitely tell), the soups and sandwiches are incredible, and the coffee is to die for! Not to mention the workers are very sweet people.

Wonderful new coffee shop! There's ample seating inside (couch & bar stools), as well as a couple whimsical cast iron chairs in front of the shop. I had a delicious honey lavender latte & a swiss cheese biscuit. Bonus points: they make their pastries in-house! 😍

Stopped in on my way home from Michigan to Virginia after visiting family and missing good coffee. Had a really tasty cappuccino here and a breakfast burrito that was hearty and delicious! Great experience all around, wish I could have just sat for a while, it’s a cool spot for sure—an unexpected treat on my road trip thru rural Ohio. The owner (River?) was really friendly and runs a great little shop here.

Excellent in-house made coffee cake muffin (not too sweet :) ). VERY good latte. I also picked up a very reasonably priced bag of small batch whole bean coffee (for later).

Ordered a brown sugar oatmilk iced coffee, biscuits & gravy, and a chef salad for later in the day. All three items were top notch. Can't say enough good things about the fresh crunchy salad with amazing ranch dressing. Even have salad leftover for tomorrow as all portions were generous! The owner was lovely, as well as the pleasant woman at the register. Can't wait to return!

I always order a quad on ice with honey lavender syrup and oatmilk and it's good every single time. I recently got the breakfast burrito for a coworker and they said it was one of the best burritos they've had in a long time. My toddler also loves their donut holes. Such a nice addition to ashville.

If you’re in Ashville and find yourself torn between which coffee shop to choose from, go to River’s. The owner has been making all things pastries/sweets professionally for the last 15 years. Almost all things are made from scratch with even many of the sauces too. I ordered a vanilla donut, biscuits and gravy, and cold brew. The donut literally melts in your mouth and the dough doesn’t remind me of the taste or texture of any donut I’ve ever had. Very original flavor, in my opinion. Biscuit and Gravy was so yummy and filling with a biscuit so good, I wish I bought any extra one. Note to self: Individual Biscuits are also available for purchase. So happy there is a morning option in Ashville that I know will be consistently good every time I stop in!

Fantastic coffee shop located within historic Ashville, OH. I enjoyed a breakfast burrito and a vanilla donut while sipping on drip coffee as the friendly owner and staff helped others with their orders. I found the environment to be very relaxing and am excited to add this to my routine. It's great to see new businesses popping up in the area!

this place is fantastic!!! their fresh donuts are delicious (I got the strawberry dip donut, it was so good) and their iced lattes are good as well. the workers are funny and helpful, and there's a lovely feel to the place. already been here twice.

The Broemsugar oat milk cold brew was fantastic as always. The doughnuts are delicious. The vanilla and maple bacon are amazing.

Wonderful ladies that were very kind to our dogs and the 'Black Cat' cold brew is now my favorite spooky drink!

Nice hot fresh doughnuts will melt in your mouth. Very friendly staff. Good hot coffee not just colored water.
