Great place to grab lunch on the mountain.
Build your own burrito, grain bowl or salad for $20. Huge portions with tons of different options; everything was super flavourful!

•They are doing burritos again this season. Didn't have one, but looked tasty.
•Fountain soft drinks, but not allowed refills - seems kinda rude when it's $6 for the standard cup. Maybe sometime they will change it where refills are like ¢50 or something.
•Fries were hot and perfectly salted. Large was $14.

*Update 02/12/25- restaurant states they don't do refills due to public health, but what public health concerns are there now when every restaurant in SLC that has fountains allows refills? Seems like an excuse rather than a real reason. Additionally when we went it was $6 for the cup we purchased not $5....*

Great food. They have a shop downstairs where the sell Alta merchendise. Everything is great, and I fact I'm writing this review in the lodge right now, where I'm watching the skiirs pass while sipping my hot chocolate.

Love Watsons. Good food for on-mountain dining. Great location and nice outside space when it warms up a bit in March/April. They try to make it sustainable by paying attention to both ingredients and the utensils++.
You may also want to try the upstairs fine dining experience. Not many places in US has this. Nice (on mountain) menu and beautiful views.

Always stop here mid morning to warm up with a coffee (save that receipt for your second cup) and something sweet. Good place to shake the chills off, grab a bite and rest those knees.

The revamped food is amazing. Build your own burritos have so many options, and they are HUGE!

Great place to stop for a break, if it's not too busy. View of the mountain so you can watch other skiers coming down. Not a huge food selection at the cafeteria, and not a lot of standing room in line, but fine if not busy. 3 levels with a cafe and small shop on the bottom, cafeteria on the middle floor, and sit down restaurant at the top.

Great place to stop in; warm up; potty break; get that Italian hot chocolate; Cappacino; gloves you forgot; goggles to replace the ones you lost in your last fall; get the best fries above 10000 ft or have a gourmet lunch.

Watsons was recently redone, so now it's a nice little ski in/ski out lodge located up on the hill! Typical ski resort food, great coffee shop on the bottom floor, and nice sit-down style restaurant on the top floor!

Love the vegetarian and vegan options - make your own burrito/grain bowl was awesome!

Best cafe food on the mountain. Restraunt on 3rd floor is top shelf and the coffee shop also sells beer. Great mid mountain location

Robin and crew are always good for a hot cup of tea or coffee or a large beer.

Great joint. Super cool map in the lodge. Burgers need to be seasoned more though.

Easy access to Collins mid mountain lift. Great views and they have stairs built for people in ski boots.

Best food on any mountain. And the fries!!! Baldy's coffee is a staple for any ski day.

Nice mid mountain complex at Alta. 3rd floor has full bar and gourmet restaurant. A long time favorite.

Delicious food here, and really nice location if you need a break during a skiing trip.

The staff is super awesome they are really great. I mean seriously, super awesome.
