Risen Cafe

I was hesitant to go into a religious cafe as I’m not a religious person myself, but this experience changed that! I walked in and the atmosphere was similar to that of a library or classic coffee shop with wood bars, stools and beams, and while there was a clear church theme it wasn’t overwhelming. Service was great, our waitress was very friendly and checked on us frequently despite having to also serve a large party in the back. The food was AMAZING. My friend got a burger and said it was one of the best she’d ever had! I got a bologna sandwich, subbed American cheese for cheddar, and added an egg and lettuce. It was amazing, very nostalgic for me. Bologna was well seared, egg was runny and whites were solid just how I like it! The lettuce was crisp, whole leaves that were noticeably fresh, and the bread it was on was sooo good and crispy but not too hard! I’ll definitely be back, the price is very affordable and you get plenty of food! Also their fries are homemade and very good :) side note, their sweet tea was freshly brewed and tasted of honey to me despite them just using sugar! As a southern gal, I was thoroughly impressed with it.

This was our first time visiting this restaurant. Plan on being a frequent repeat customer. Nice relaxing atmosphere, clean, with good food, and very reasonably priced! I really like the idea of paying a meal forward to someone who is in need!

Everything was delicious! We got a burger and a special omelet with bacon, cheese and jalapeño. The fries were seasoned and crispy - no need for ketchup! The hashbrowns and sausage were some of the best we've had!
The owners are super friendly, portions and prices are great! 'Pay it forward' with tips to help some out.

Absolutely wonderful, welcoming, Christian run Cafe. They welcomed me in and blessed me with a meal... no questions asked. No charge. Not only did Sarah feed me, she also put me in touch with many resources in the Albion community. Such a warm and inviting restaurant/Church

The portion sizes are huge and prices are great. Staff is very friendly. Love the atmosphere. Definitely will be back!

Had brunch with two other people & had very good food !! Service was great ,atmosphere was excellent , just an all around quite place to have a good bite to eat !! 👍😉

Good food, reasonable prices, pleasant atmosphere, friendly customers, friendly owner. We found a new spot.

The people, Pastor Sarah and gang, are caring and friendly as it should be in a Christ centered atmosphere. They will pray with you right there or you can fill out a prayer request card. There are also Chritian resources for you to use. There is a monthly basket raffle to enter and much more. Servers don't accept tips but you can tip and that money is used to buy a meal for someone in need. AND, THE COFFEE IS DELICIOUS!

The grilled cheese is delicious and I recommend it! They are so friendly and generous. I loved the scripture and Bible verses on the wall and the prayer corner.

Great food, wonderful atmosphere, even better prices! Worth a stop or even a trip out of the way to grab a bite and cup o' brew! Def ask for some prayers while you stop in, staff will gladly pray!

Nice clean café. Staff are really nice. Food is good and enough to satisfy. I definitely will be back when I come into Albion again.

Simple menu makes it easy to decide and the food was awesome. Recommend the turkey with smoked baken on rye melt.

Just nice place, nice people in a town that is craving nice things. Don't be skairt, give it a try.

We live in the neighborhood, it's a great place to have a meal or just take a break, they have great food, great prices, great service.

This is a Christian establishment but anyone is welcome to visit.

There is no reason anyone should rate this establishment with less than 5 stars.
