I recently earned my tail wheel endorsement at Tailwheel Adventures, and it was an incredible experience. Traveling from California to Florida for specialized training was well worth it. The staff surpassed my expectations, especially Ryan, who proved to be a fantastic and cool instructor. From spin training to various exciting maneuvers, the overall experience was exceptional. I highly recommend this place for anyone seeking quality aviation training.

The only way to learn stick and rudder skills would be in a Tailwheel airplane, and the only school worthy of your business in Florida would be Tailwheel adventures. If you desire a challenge, great flying experience, and some of the best CFI’s around then you can’t go wrong here. The owner is here to make sure you succeed as a student.

Tailwheel flying has always been a passion of mine. I already had my tailwheel endorsement but with low hours and experience I decided to further my skills at Tailwheel Adventures. Kevin was very thorough and really honed in my tailwheel skills making me feel more confident and competent. I’ve since gone on to own my own tailwheel aircraft and fly professionally. TW Adventures taught me safe and practical procedures and they have really made me a better pilot! If I had to recommend a Flight School to someone Tailwheel Adventures would be top of the list!

Awesome place to learn how to fly! If you’re driven and able to do ground on your own, there is no better place to learn the stick skills to become a fantastic private, commercial or tailwheel-endorsed pilot. Great fleet of aircraft as well. Highly recommend.

My experience with this outfit was exactly what I expected and needed. The owner Kevin keeps his ducks in a row to make sure for the best student experience. I received right at 60 hours of training with these guys. I feel plenty comfortable getting into just about any airplane. I have cycled through about 4 flight schools after these guys and they have been my favorite. Personable instructors, they put in as much if not more work and dedication than you do.

Great experience! Teach and focus on doing things to perfection. They make pilots that have complete control of the airplane and put it where they want it, not just chasing after the plane. They take good care of their students and I personally have developed a friendship with each of the instructors and keep in touch. Come here with 0 hours or 10,000 and they will improve you skills.

I've always loved flying tailwheel and there aren't many places around that offer tailwheel training. Even fewer offer it at this level. I loved flying the Citabria's at Tailwheel adventures. The planes look great and fly just as well. The instructors are also top notch and ensure that you arent just getting a tailwheel endorsement but are really competent.

Called Kevin and I was able to get on the schedule for the same week. I did my tailwheel endorsement and high performance endorsement with Kevin. When he told me it was not just a tailwheel endorsement but it was also advanced flying techniques I thought what else can he teach me? I was wrong. He didn’t just made me a tailwheel pilot, he made me a competent tailwheel pilot.

I did my private with Kevin and Verle, great hardworking guys. It was a great introduction into aviation. I’ve since gotten my commercial certificate and am currently flying an Air Tractor.

I had a great experience at Tailwheel Adventures. Their instructors are professional and knowledgeable and really pushed me to be a better stick and rudder pilot.

Great airplanes and i enjoyed how not only did the instructors teach me the basics of the endorsement they then built me up well above standards and prepared me well for the future in much larger higher performance tailwheels. I thought I knew it all until I stepped into Tailwheel adventures Kevin taught me things that i’m surprised the FAA does not mandate as part of the ppl certificate. I now feel confident in any wind condition wether tailwheel or tricycle. Thank you Kevin you earned this review!

The best way to convey my experience with Kevin Garcia and his team at Tailwheel Adventures is with some back story. A year-or-so ago Kevin came to fly with my boss who checked him out in my companies large tailwheel aircraft. My boss gave him a huge green light with regard to his skill and abilities, so I knew as I finished my PPL training with Kevin I was getting quality instruction from a great pilot who lived up to my boss’s high standard, which meant a lot to me.

Finishing my PPL through Tailwheel Adventures was the perfect way to hone my tailwheel skills and my pilotage in general. There is no question that Kevin and his team at Tailwheel Adventures set a standard for flight instruction and tailwheel proficiency that is unparalleled for private and commercial aviation!

Knowing Keven the owner for several years he has bothered me to go on a discovery flight all the time! Finally I decided to and it was amazing Sebastian the flight instructor was great and told my wife and I everything we needee to know and expect from a small plane. We flew over all the parks and down town at sunset which was the perfect time ( his recommendation) if and when I decide to obtain my license I won't hesitate to call Kevin at tailwheel adventures !
