Little Red Hen Diner & Bakery

This place is amazing! I ordered the bbq bacon cheeseburger and it was fantastic. They have great home cooked food and a really clean store. They also have a good selection of beers, ice cream, and pastries. I highly suggest stopping by if you have the chance!

Quaint, neat, friendly and yummy. This is a regular stop for my family when we are in the area. Hearty breakfasts, delicious dinners and tempting desserts.

We actually didn’t eat here because they were closed, but they let us thru hikers camp in the back yard, use the fridge and microwave all for free!

Folks, we can't say enough good things about this place. If you want to have a great meal at a fantastic price, this is the place for you. This is where the locals hang out and they know best. The buffets are awesomeness. I love the Mexican night and my hubby loves the Italian night. The prime rib goes FAST. Don't go on a diet, their fresh baked goods are sinfully delicious.

My favorite breakfast spot in this part of Maine. Sadly I only get to come here once a year when I am up for New England Forest Rally but every year I stop the day I'm heading home. Great breakfast, friendly staff and great atmosphere. You feel right at home when you sit down. This is also a known gathering spot for people hiking the AT. They keep a decently stocked shelf of basic supplies for the AT hikers such as granola bars and batteries, something that just goes a little above and beyond for people. Highly reccomend!

What a sweet little place! I had breakfast at this diner and enjoyed it thoroughly. Good food, a very comfortable atmosphere, and service with a smile. If you are vacationing around Andover or Roxbury, be sure to hit the Little Red Hen for breakfast or lunch.

Home cooking right before your very eyes! This place is a little off the beaten path but worth finding.
Nestled in sleepy Andover, Maine, it's a very special little place. I say little but it seats probably 30 or better.
No canned hash here folks...real food done right.
I'm almost afraid to get the word out because I don't like waiting for my food once I can smell it.
But seriously, take the drive and thank me later.

Somewhere along the way, someone mentioned to me that, the way I love food, it would be well worth it to travel to Andover, Maine and visit the Little Red Hen Diner & Bakery. My wife and I just took a quick little "stay vacation" - (one night) - in Hanover at Stoney Brook Campground, another wonderful spot! Since Andover was only 15 minutes away, I finally got my chance to visit the Little Red Hen. That person from days gone by who said to visit was spot on! Our breakfast was wonderful as was the young lady who served us. Well worth the drive!

The food was great, raspberry muffins were very good, wait staff are friendly and we had great service. If you're in Andover, you should definitely eat at the Little Red Hen Diner

I've eaten in some of the finest restaurants between Boston and Portland. When it comes to home cooked quality food at a fair price and clean as it gets...this is the place to go! Look forward to going back!

Delicious farm fresh cooking! My cornedbeef hash was like a pot roast meal with large chunks of corned beef and potatoes. The eggs cooked just right and homemade toast. My husband had the three meat omelet. So good!

Excellent service and food. Hope to go back before going back to Arizona. I've had the BLT and Haddock chowder YUM YUM and the prices makes me want to go back. Thanks Little Red Hen.

Most people give 5 stars for a good reason. Quaint atmosphere, friendly service, great food and amazing English muffins and other fresh baked goods. Worth your detour to come here.

Everything that we have ever ordered here is wonderful. The homemade English muffins and biscuits are a favorite. There dinner specials an buffets are delicious!!

Best resupply in Andover. Owner made bread, biscuits, and English muffins fresh every day. Would also shuttle you to the trail for free.

Home Made breads, muffins, pies, cookies and Whoopie pies. The food is excellent! Well worth the stop. You know it is good since that's where you find the locals.
