Toccoa Riverside Restaurant

Beautiful restaurant! The views are spectacular. I enjoyed looking around at the decor. I had the lobster pasta which was so delicious I ate every single bite. My husband had the blackened trout, which he also thoroughly enjoyed. He said the collards were the best he's ever tasted. We had the crab stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer. Our server was attentive and friendly. They offer cash pay discounts. We will absolutely be back! This is my new favorite vacation destination restaurant. We can't wait to come back and visit again! Thank you for a wonderful experience.

I really enjoyed this place and our servers were super sweet. The Korean Flat Iron was delicious. Beautiful view! We enjoyed it.

We were able to get a table despite it being quite busy. We sat out back on the (new) river terrace. The serene sounds of the river were amazing and cooling during our dinner. Our server Sam was very attentive and had a great dry sense of humor! The Cajun pasta and Nashville chicken sandwich were phenomenal! Don't forget to get Grandma's 100 year old peach cobbler! Well the recipe is 100, not the actual dessert;). You won't be disappointed.

There is not enough good things to say about this place. It was perfect! Our waitress was phenomenal. She made sure we had everything we needed and took care of us like we were the only couple there.
The location on the river gave the restaurant such an amazing atmosphere. It was so peaceful.
The pecan trout was over the top with the pecan butter. I would never have considered adding a sweet pecan butter to fish but OH MY GOODNESS, you have got to try this!!!
And save room for the blondie.
If we are ever back in the area, we will definitely go back and will recommend to all our friends headed in that direction.

This is our second visit. They have some of the best pecan frosted trout anywhere. The service was great and you can beat sitting by the river for dinner. We also grabbed some desserts to go for later and they did not disappoint. We'll definitely be back.

Came here with my family while we were out on vacation, had the best food I have had at a restaurant. IN SUCH A LONG TIME. My wife and I had the Cajun Pasta, absolutely amazing. Prices were not bad either especially with the portions were received. 10/10 when I come back to visit I'm coming back for sure. Beautiful river with amazing view for pictures too.

We found out new favorite restaurant! This place is great, definitely trying the trout sandwich next time, looked amazing with a generous portion of locally sourced trout. Update to this review. We rushed back to get the trout sandwich (that we saw on our first visit) and was told it was only available during lunch. The host refused to give me a time estimate for our wait (seemed to almost delight in it). Will probably go back but we're in no hurry, definitely "threw cold water" on our enthusiasm following our first visit, so sad.

Fabulous dining experience! Perfect evening, complete with a full moon shining brightly through the trees. Fresh fileted trout prepared to perfection! Excellent waitstaff "Thank You, Charlie!". Beautiful scenery all around, while dining on the comfortable and scenic back patio overlooking a beautiful rushing river. Our visit to Toccoa Riverside was icing on the cake during our mini-vacation trip. We'll be back!

So where do you start... The amazing menu? The great service? The oh-so-good food? The atmosphere? Or how about the Pooch Porch? We love taking our joyful ball of floof everywhere, so when we cruzed by this restaurant on our way to check out tubing down the river and discovered we could go have dinner with the pup... how could we resist. The food was great, complimented by A+ service. The entire family had a blast, Bella too. She enjoyed her meal just as much as we did. This place is amazing, judging by the parking everyone else thinks so too! An absolute must if you are in range. Our family enjoyed Crab Stuffed Shrimp, Blackened Chicken, Terrayaki Chicken, Chicken Fingers, Chicken Breast (dog menu), fries, Baked Potato, Rice Pilaf, Fresh Fruit, and fountain drinks.

A beautiful riverside dining location in blue ridge. The pecan crusted trout is amazing. We had excellent service, beautiful scenery, and a delicious dinner. What else could you want?

I give the restaurant a 5 star rating. I had the choice ribeye, baked potato, and cole slaw. My wife had the pecan crusted trout, jalapeño grits and collard greens. Food was great. We were sat quickly and the food was expedient. We did not have the greatest waitress, but the other waitress, working with her, ensured we were generally taken care of. Anyone can have a bad night so we choose not to let it deter us. It did not over shadow the experience. When we come back this way, we will definitely eat here again. You need to give it a try.

Great food! The jumbo ravioli was amazing and the red snapper was the best! The cobbler desserts were to die for!! ❤
My only complaint is that some of the kids meals were very light on the amount of food.

We came all the way up from Cherokee County for dinner. The smoked trout dip is awesome. The ribs and Pecan Crushed Fish were superb. The Cajun Pasta was very good with huge shrimp. Love this spot along the river.

Sat on the river and had dinner. Absolutely beautiful. Charlie, our server, was excellent. Not gonna lie. The kids loved hearing him talk. He's British. They thought that was the coolest thing about the place. He was very nice. The food is great. I highly recommend the blackened trout and crab stuffed mushrooms. I forgot to add they have a pooch patio. I believe you can bring your dog.

Get a relaxing view of the river and enjoy some great food here. Visit this place every time I am in the area!

The rustic decor may fool you into thinking this place is a dive, or nothing special. You’d be wrong!!! We got the pimento cheese bake appetizer, I got the catfish, and he got smoked rainbow trout. The fish was cooked to perfection and the veggies ordered on the side were incredible- not at all over done. Even though it was summer time and hot, we sat on the covered patio area and had a beautiful view of the river. A fan was going to keep us cool. I highly recommend and look forward to returning again someday soon!

This is a beautiful restaurant in a lovely setting with a great ambience & delicious food. My husband & I came in on a Friday night & there was no wait. We were immediately seated & promptly waited on. We ordered the crab dip as an appetizer & it was good. For entrees I had the blackened trout & my husband had the baby back ribs. The food was very good & the service was great. The vibe & ambience of the place are 5stars, the music was a great selection & not overwhelming. Our server was great & super attentive, she kept the sweet tea refilled & consistently checked in on us. We'll definitely dine here again & highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Food was incredible and fresh! Obey the shirt and get the pecan trout! It will melt in your mouth. The jalapeño cheese grits were also amazing. I went with the green beans which were a little overcooked and nothing special but everything else that came out was great. We also had the crème brûlée cheesecake for desert.

Jessica is an amazing server. The smoked trout was delicious. They let me add smoked trout to my salad with tomatoes and onion. The appetizers were delicious. I typically do not like crawfish but they did it right here. We brought our 2 dogs as well. The staff was friendly to them. We will be back here when we come fly fishing.
