I was very lucky to find Dr. Omura. He is correcting some bad dental work I had done elsewhere. He thoroughly explains the procedures that need to be done. I had an issue after hours, and he called back promptly. He is caring and takes pride in his work. I highly recommend him!

Back in September of 2020, I developed severe TMJ and the pain was almost unbearable.  I first tried the usual full mouth night guard which for me did not help with my pain and the device was really uncomfortable.  My dentist then referred me to Dr. Omura and I began seeing him monthly since January 2021.  I didn't have much hope that anything was going to help BUT he tailored a treatment plan specifically to me and I am 100% pain free today in only 5 months!  Dr. Omura is a gentle soul who really cares.   He is very easy to talk to, very professional, clearly explains everything and is extremely knowledgeable!  I highly recommend Dr. Omura and am so thankful to him for helping me!

Dr. Omura has helped me more than any other dentist I have seen over the years with my severe TMD. I have had several custom-made night guards and a splint in my more than 15 years dealing with severe TMJ pain; Dr. Omura’s pivots are the most comfortable and easy to wear appliances I have ever had. Rather than my more traditional splint— a bulky uncomfortable thing that covered all my upper teeth and was difficult to wear—the pivots cover only my back teeth and cause no discomfort while significantly reducing my jaw pain. He is a compassionate and patient provider; I highly recommend his practice.

I have been going to Ashland Prostidontics for the better part of a year. Dr. Omura his assistant Deanna and all of the office staff have been friendly and knowledgeable. I've struggled with TMJ for years. My jaw locked shut a few years ago and after trying everything I could think of - PT, massage, chiropractors, cranial sacral, and acupuncture - I resigned myself to just dealing with the pain. My dentist convinced me to see Dr. Omura and try one more time to get relief. I am so glad I did.
I feel better now than I have in years. My mobility is back, I can eat crunchy foods again, and I have zero pain. I worked in dentistry for many years and know enough about it to make me a tough patient! When my dentist of 30 years retired, I was traumatized by the thought of a new dentist, and one who might not do the same things as my former dentist. Then a dental friend introduced me to Dr. Omura and all my fears dissolved.

I was referred to Dr.Omura for TMJ issues which I heard he was good at. He grinned at me and with confidence made me a sleeping device instead of TMJ one and charged me an arm and a leg. His device resembles a torture device. I have sore jaw and muscles. Now I have pain more than ever. He took my mobility and chewing abilities away, I cannot even bite on a piece of bread. I would never go to this dentist ever again.waste of time and energy.
