Great place for anyone! Very accessible for everyone as well! Greta place to camp, do some hiking! Even get out your backpack and stay out for a few days! The accessibility to the falls is as good as you will get anywhere! My sister was married in the chapel next to it as well, so it’s a very functional but still relatively untouched area! The lower falls is amazing, it’s actually been renovated and stairs added down the path and is very accessible even for those who have physical issues! A little navigating through and over boulders but ultimately worth the effort!

Have always loved this park. Great place to walk, explore, and be around and in nature. Great old buildings on display. They have upgraded the train within the past 2 years, and is now electric. Plenty of hiking trails on site as well.

When we were here was following a long drought and the falls were flowing but not as spectacular as in the past. It is still a great site and great park. People were able to actually swim in the water. Full and roaring or barely flowing, the fall is worth seeing and the story of Noccalula is worth hearing.

Absolutely stunning after spring rains. It's rare to find accessible 90ft waterfalls without having to drive and hike considerable distances. This is a very well-maintained natural resource complete with a pioneer village and activities for the family. On the park side, you pay a small fee to get to the falls on a light to light-moderate trail depending how far behind the falls you go. It becomes moderate-difficult, even treacherous after rain, to continue out the other side, but it is possible and very rewarding. You can walk the entire circuit around the gorge using a suspension bridge on the opposite end from the falls. There are signs all over the place preventing you from getting turned around. When there aren't signs there are orange paint markers and white reflective tags on trees. You can also enter the gorge from the opposite side of the creek from the park without paying a fee. You can then take the suspension bridge to the other side to get to the falls more easily. There are plenty of opportunities to shoot video and photography of rapids, cliffs, flora, and fauna. It's an experience you shouldn't pass up if you have an hour or two.

Visit this awesome waterfall spot. Public park. So if you are looking for a hidden gem, this is not for you. Great hiking to waterfall, sometimes a little steep and there are boulders to maneuver. Interesting history of the park. Makes a great afternoon trip with kids and friends who enjoy being in nature. I brought my dog, and she hiked and climbed with us. Odd there is a jacks fast food in the adjacent lot, but if you or your kids get hungry there’s a quick easy solution. All though it’s not the healthiest choice, you can grab some food and sit in the park at the picnic tables and refuel. There isn’t any getting back in the car with hungry, tired children, and trying to find the nearest place for food. At Christmas they light up the park and offer train rides. I thought it was great fun, easy, and inexpensive way to spend a Saturday..

Breathtaking, I don't know about the Indian princess jumping to keep from getting married, but it's a must see walking behind the falls is something ever adult should experience. A great place to take the wife on your wedding day 🤣

Something for everyone at this lovely park. Plenty of picnic places and free views of the falls.
At a small cost entry to the park is worth the fee. Nice walk around, the train isn’t running but looks like it would be good fun for kids.
The Gorge Trail to the foot of the falls is a bit steep in parts but we’ll worth the effort.

A must see if you're in the Gadsden area. Fun for all ages. And if you actually hike to the falls you better have your hiking boots on! You could easily spend hours there, and the park is well kept.

Beautiful! We visited here multiple times, and it is always just as lovely. It can gather some crowds, but nothing terrible. There is a lot to do with families. A little train to ride around and get a tour on. A playground. A little zoo. A little ice cream shop is there for some yummy snacks too!

I walked the trails down to the suspension bridge then on to the waterfall. The way there is clearly marked but it not for someone looking for a basic path.

Beautiful! Trail to the falls was difficult in some areas. Loved the train ride around the park area. The falls were small while we were there during a dry season, but the area is just beautiful. Campground right next to the park.

Great hiking loop that takes you all the way down under the water falls and a new suspension bridge has been added that loops you back around so you can hike both side of the river and under the waterfall in one swoop! Great for all active individuals. Terrain can get steep at places and slick under the falls, but as long as you watch your footing it isn't dangerous.

The park is absolutely gorgeous. The grounds are well maintained. There is a FroPops confession in the park, that's awesome. All of the trails are well maintained. We love this park and have gone several times.

Besides being a family attraction park, picnic area, and campground, there is also a fabulous walking/ biking trail for all ages. A few good hills to get your heart rate up.
The main trail is as wide as a two lane country road. It is well maintained and runs along the gorge, beautiful, quiet and peaceful. Benches and overlooks along the way. There is a flat rocky area 1 mile down for your pups to swim with clear shallow water. The main trail is 1.8 miles one way and there are other smaller, more challenging trails off of the main trail with a map provided to show those trails. They are also working on a swinging bridge. Great places for a photo shoot. We walk this trail often and always feel safe.

This place has become one of my favorite destinations each time I pass through the area. The beauty can’t be described in a few words. I’ve been here in the past many times and never knew there were trails that take you to and behind the falls. There are a few spots along black creek trail that descend down into the gorge that takes you to the falls and a new suspension bridge that crosses the creek. Be careful along the trails because the trails are natural and a little rough along the way,but this is what makes the hike a little more interesting. Once at the falls there are many spots to catch a lot of beautiful photos. I have never been disappointed with the natural beauty and peace of this area. Places to eat nearby and very ample parking space.

Beautiful! We walked all the way down to the river and followed a trail that leads to a suspension bridge! It was absolutely gorgeous! A great spot to stop and see and an Indian landmark as well. They have spots to park your RV and trails to walk or jog. Just beautiful!
