Was awesome of them to allow a hiker/backpacker to use the bicyclist site for less than $20 for the night.

*There are Some private campgrounds that have turned me away bcuz they only have RV sites…OR…they only have “bike” sites AND I could stay if I reserve and pay for a Regular site.
This place wasn’t like that.

The hospitality other reviews speak of…spot On.

I stopped at the pub first. Asked about getting a campsite. Was really easy. Then I got a super tasty Blue Cheese n Bacon burger and a couple drinks to celebrate breaking through 6500 miles walked.

The campsite was really quiet after dark, easily able to sleep. The shower does take a quarter. A Quarter…for 5 minutes! Not $2 for a shower. Not a Quarter a minute. A quarter for 5! 50Cents gets ya 10 minutes. Can’t beat that really.

If you are hiking or biking through….tired? hungry? want a drink? up for conversing with the locals? Be sure to stop.

And the owners even gifted me a food care pkg right before I went to sleep. A couple of #humanswithwings I tell ya.

Mile 6,506 was awesome.

Loved this great little campground. RV sites have some space and greenery in between so you're not right on top of each other. Nice, clean bathrooms with coin op showers, and a rec building for rainy day activities. Beautiful, fairly easy hike around the grounds and along the river.

For one night is very good. Bathrooms are super clean, no sewer but electric and water, and you have a pub right there.

I love the layout of the small rv park. Super friendly staff,A little muddy after some rain. But worth the effort to park my 27foot bumper pull rv. We enjoy the trees over head and quiet space. staying for a few months and the owner is very friendly. Highly recommend if you are a couple traveling and looking to lay up for a bit. The pub has a warm inviting atmosphere.

Quarters for 5 minutes for showrooms. Not many tent sites. But clean and has a restaurant bar.

Very friendly! We pulled up on bikes in the evening and they found us a comfortable spot to set up a tent. Laundry and hot showers, and a bar with kitchen on site!

Thank you for providing shelter during my bicycle journey. In the downpour I was able to dry belongings, shower, charge electronics, and sleep well. Your hospitality is much appreciated and I would highly recommend you to others.

Spent a total of 4 nights, broken up by stays in Grayland and Westport. That we returned says it best: while nothing fancy or pretentious, it's cozy with foliage offering shade and nice spacing between sites. Though rustic, is quite clean, very reasonably priced, with adequate shower (a quarter buys 5 minutes of hot water) & coin-operated laundry facilities, nice walking trail, and refreshingly accommodating management. Daytime road noise (from 101) drops to nothing at night, so very quiet. We'd stay here again.

People here are friendly but by the time i got there they weren't a lot of food choices to eat no soup, no burgers, it was very limited . They was a guy that was telling me the history he was a local. He was one station in my home town .but it great place to spend the night camping.

This cozy & delightful space is a must stop on Hwy 101. We walked in & we were automatically greeted with smiles. We cozied up to a table to play some dominos & sip on some suds.. while the locals were playing pool. Met the Previous owner (purchased 1975) & the Chef/ Bartender and learned some history & future prospects of this recycled & repurpose space. While right now they are in a holding pattern for the kitchen, the drinks & atmosphere are inviting. This was a great way to spend time relaxing.

The owners of this park are very kind and gracious. They share their beautiful vegetable, berry, and flower gardens with their guests. The sites are big and mowed and clean! Laundry facility and ping-pong in one building. We had a wonderful time and will definitely go back!

Love, love, love this place. Camping without the hassle. Wooded camping spots, fire pits (with very affordable firewood delivery) restrooms and hot showers! The owners have a garden that you can pick veggies and fruits from, there is a trail to walk and a stream to get crawdads from. And did I mention there is a pub that you can bring your dogs to?! Plus beer and pool and an awsome back deck and horseshoes in the beer garden!

The park was clean and nice with plenty of space between sites. The camp host were incredible and loaded us up with veggies from the onsite garden. We didn't get the chance to hike to the big tree but would definitely stay here again.

A delightful place along highway 101. A family owned park with large, well separated sites nestled in the tall fir trees. We were greeted warmly by Roy and Ann. They made our stay so pleasant. We'll be back.

What a lovely place to get away to. Roy and Annie made us feel like family. Exactly as described, not your usual corporate campground. Definitely will return on our next trip their way.

This place is a jem. Annie and Roy are the owners and hosts and are lovely. This is an RV/Camping spot., with lovely walks rustic surroundings ( not a parking lot with plugs and water). We loved it and the pub that is on site, is wonderful with great patrons and Jackie knocks it out of the park with the food(Friday night is rib night mmmm) Go and enjoy a walk to the giant Sitka spruce ( we saw otters playing in the river). We will be back!

Our kind of campground, a lot of room between sites, lots of trees and blackberries were falling off the bushes. Lisa was a gracious host and the price was right! Thanks for a great week.

Beautiful scenery and a 5 star restaurant right next door. What is not to love? There is also clean bathrooms, a place to pump your portapotties, and big game room that is open to everybody. If you do stop, make sure you order a crator cone from The Artic restaurant next door. They also have amazing home-made ice cream.

though. RV park is the best it's the nicest one me and my family have found, they have an area to do laundry or wash dishes and a lil cabin that is full of books and games with a few tables to sit at for food or whatever you might need. There is bathrooms and showers that can be used and are always found clean. Just a short walk and u can have a drink at their bar or order a hot meal for dinner whichever you are looking for. The best thing about this RV park is ur not crammed in like sardines like most and there is this lovely trail behind the park that goes alongside the river and gives u a chance to be a part of nature, witness some animals in there natural habitats and take in the beautiful scenery that is surrounding you at the arctic RV park. Follow the trail to the giant tree at the end and try to guess how old a tree of that size might be,or family had fun with that also. The owners were always very helpful to us and were great with the children and made sure to tell us about all that they had to offer for an exciting time there at the arctic. I would recommend this place to everyone and anyone.
