Quaint little rest stop location. The staff was friendly and there's a decent selection of snacks and beverages for the whole family. They also have a nice, chilled collection of local beer.

If you're passing through, this is one of the few places to stop and get a bite to eat. There's also a restaurant that functions during the summer season.

20# Bags of ice for sale (available on Sunday also).....all kinds of cool beers and ciders. Fresh baked pizzas and salads but we didn’t try any.....I’m sure their yummy! Friendly service and very busy place!!! Thanks for being open on Sunday’s!

I am usually not a big fan of reviewing pizza places. Pizza restaurants are a dime a dozen, and in general I think pizza falls into two categories: satisfactory or excellent (there are some well known cliche and humorous metaphors that resemble this). However, this pizza restaurant is very very good, and the beer selection is outstanding. The outside seating was wonderful, casual, and relaxing. We found the owners/employees to be fun and helpful, and the clientele were also pleasantly chatty. So, in the interest of fully embracing one cliche in this review you should eat, drink, and be merry at this restaurant.

Every year that we visit City of Rocks, we go to Rock City many times and are treated like family and they remember us. We even had our wedding reception here (party of 4) after getting married in the City. We love the atmosphere and the family are all great people. Try the "Garbage" pizza, their pizza is AMAZING!

We stopped at Rock City for pizza on our way to the City of Rocks. The pizza was fantastic! We enjoyed their cold drink selection. As we were heading out we ended up with a flat tire on a Sunday. Turns out they have a shop mechanic who was able to fix our tire and get us on our way. Staff at Rock City are all very friendly!

This place is great, they had a huge beer selection and carry a variety of non-alcoholic beer also. We were going to try their pizza, however one person in our group is reactive to gluten so we passed on ordering. Next visit though I will definitely give them a try. The people were very nice.

We have been going to Almo for many years, and we just thought this was a rock shop. That's what the sign eludes to. So, we decided to go in to see what it was all about. This is not a rock shop, but a very cute store that you can buy things to may have forgotten while you are spending time camping ( pots and pans, food items, drinks, shampoo, paper towels, tp, chapstick, toothpaste, shampoo... you get it...) and the most fantastic pizza I have had in a long time. They also have unique jewelery, handmade soap... And yes, a few rocks that are tumbled and shiney. LOL There are lots of drinks to choose from that you can enjoy with your meal. The ladies that run the place are sweet as can be and the other workers, (family members?) are so nice and friendly, we felt like family when we left. We are sorry that we were duped for so many years. We would have loved a different option to the cafe, but are glad we finally went in. Perhaps they want to stay a bit hidden from all of the visitors so they can keep their local charm... I'm not sure... But if so... Shhhhhh, it will be our secret. (Grin)

This place is only a couple of miles from parks and camp grounds (Smokey mountain, castle rock and city of rock) and the pizza is fantastic!!! The people are awesome! Beer selection is vast!! Spoke to the owner for a bit, what they have to do to keep this place going and prices reasonable is pretty amazing. If they have product delivered it’s cost plus 25%, so they drive to twin falls once a week to get most of their product, 100 miles one way, or they meet the drivers in the middle of nowhere (40-50 miles away), so if things are a little more expensive then you think they should be.... remember where you are.

Awesome pizza and wonderful selection of beers. Get there early before they run out of dough. My husband and I don't share pizzas and he ended up getting talked into a large pizza he polished it off after an evening at the hot springs. I loved their veggie pizza! The sauce and dough had great flavor. YAY PIZZA!!! They also have some provisions if you have forgotten anything for camping.

Really amazing pizza! Plenty of toppings to choose from, including vegetarian options. Prices are good, especially for the quality. Wait time was reasonable Seating is outside only but nice enough. The place is also a mini convenience store so if you need to stock up on some basic supplies like first aid and snacks it's got you covered.

Delicious pizza! We got the garbage (or something like that) which just had everything and it was amazing after a day of climbing. The beer selection was vast and there was a really nice outdoor but protected seating area and great service. Well priced for large pizzas

The gathering spot for climbers at city of rocks. Friendly and welcoming with really good pizza. Did I mention the best beer selection period and they sell it at grocery prices even to consume on premises. Pizza, beer, friendly people and tales from your day. Do It.

Rock city’s pizza is so amazing after a long day of climbing hiking and biking! I love this place and their service!! I make sure I save a night for their pizza every time I come down. When they start making their sandwiches again be sure to order a sandwich to take on the trail in the morning.

Rock City Pizza offers the BEST Pizza west of the Rocky Mountains. It’s coolers have an amazing variety of beer and hard cider unmatched for hundreds of miles. Rock City’s legendary climber friendly atmosphere makes it the place to hang out after a day on the rock. The warm friendly service of this family owned and operated restaurant and small store makes it a must-visit destination on any trip to the City of Rocks or Castle Rocks.

Our AirB&B host told about this place and we loved it! Literally at the end of the road before City of Rocks, this place is funky and unique. And the pizza is amazing! The crust is perfect! We had an XL Garbage and a plain cheese and all of us were gobsmacked. Would go way out of our way to eat here again. See you on our next trip!

How someone doesn't rate this place a 5 star, I wont understand. The very nicest, most friendly and attentive people work there. Their perfectly made pepperoni pizza was superb after a hard day climbing and their beer selection? Wowza, you wont find a beer selection like that for 200 miles! They know their clientele and give them what they want. Watching all the hummingbirds just outside was a nice touch of entertainment. A true Oasis!

We stopped in for dinner between climbing at Castle Rocks and camping at City of Rocks. Truth be told I just didn't feel like cooking but this turned out to be an awesome stop. The pizza really hit the spot, very tasty and reasonably priced. A large absolutely stuffed 2 adults and 2 kids. Great beverage selection too, alcoholic and not. All of us had a drink we really liked. The small convenience store section was an added bonus. All around great stop, highly recommended if you're in the area.

Bummed that their pizza wasn't up and running due to staffing shortage, but oh my gosh, their beer selection was some of the best I've seen around!
