Black Mountain Chairs

I just picked these up and brought them home for the wife to check out. Not only are they hand made and well built but looked exactly how I expected and wanted them to look. These two, I bought with the ottoman, I needed 4 but didn't want to spend the money if I didn't like the quality of the work. I really just wasted my time and will IMMEDIATELY order 2 more! The hour drive to pick these up was well worth it. I will absolutely recommend this person to everyone who needs chairs or furniture built. Price was more than reasonable. Can't wait to pick up the next 2 so the patio seating area will be complete!

Lately, it feels like everything is made better at home, for certain things. That is NOT the case with these chairs. AJ did an AMAZING job and the quality of the chairs is outstanding. They are extremely sturdy, heavy duty, and we can already tell they will last us a very, very long time. We were going to purchase two XL Adirondack chairs and two captains chairs, but decided on 4 captains chairs because they are so cool! Can't wait to sit outside and have some fires in the fire pit! We picked up our swing this week and we really love it! It is very well made and very heavy. Plus it has cup holders on both arms….a really nice touch. The owner was extremely responsive and helpful with tips on hanging it and how to best protect it. I would definitely recommend this product.

We purchased 2 captains chairs and a matching table from Two Hounds Trading Co. after falling in love with our friend’s set. They are made very well and the materials are high quality. My husband works in construction and he was impressed with the craftsmanship. I highly recommend this company!

We are so happy with our Adirondack chairs! I love the added feature of the cup holder. The design is just right, all of our friends and family can enjoy the comfortable seat no matter their size. The customer service was excellent too. We had a couple of slats that split due to a knot in the wood. Two Hounds Trading came by and replaced them. We would certainly purchase these chairs again. AJ's stuff just hits (or sits) different. I have had wooden porch swings and Adirondack chairs most of my life and have never found any that are as comfortable as his. Turnaround time is great quality is excellent, 10/10!

I first met AJ when he delivered my chairs - My folding Adirondacks are absolutely gorgeous! I painted them a deep red and look amazing with my outside patio.
AJ and his wife also made custom barn door for my home and to say they are beautiful is an understatement. Beautifully crafted four 9 foot barn doors - STUNNING!!
If I ever have anything else going on in my home that needs building, I will absolutely have AJ and his wife build!

The chairs we got for last Christmas have held up beautifully and have been a great addition to our patio and fire pit area. As you can see, we added some stain for color. Great quality and great product support when I accidentally broke one slat. Highly recommend these for your upcoming Christmas purchases!

We looked for chairs for our deck forever! Everything was too short or uncomfortable or very expensive. Two Hounds had the perfect thing! We got two high sitting chairs + a side table for the price of one chair other places. They are comfortable, very attractive and sturdy.

Two Hounds Trading custom built a garbage can cabinet and two benches to match my dining table and chairs. All of the pieces are built beautifully and with great craftsmanship. Communication is easy and timely with the owners. Highly suggest!

We found these chairs through Facebook Market. What a find. These adirondack chairs were strong and sturdy and made very well. Whats even better is how they fold up and can be stored upright on its own. The cup holder is a major plus so we had to buy the side table for our snacks as well.😜 These chairs were slightly cheaper then some of the adirondacks we’ve looked at but the quality is just as good as the higher end chairs. Bought these for our dock but would/ will probably buy another set for the rest of the yard!

I needed my wooden bench wood replaced and so I gave Two Hounds Trading my old wooden bench pieces to be remade and when I received the new pieces they were absolutely beautiful. The pieces fit perfectly to the iron pieces that I had to attest the wood to. I will definitely return to Two Hounds Trading for any future woodwork items.

We had AJ make custom built-ins for our living room and they turned out better than we could have imagined! He worked timely and efficiently and paid attention to ever detail, big or small. He always responded, was here when he said he would be, and the final product was perfect! We will use AJ for any woodworking needs in the future!

Great built chairs and sit comfortably! Was a pleasure to deal with. Love the way they fold up for storage if needed as well. We use them around our outdoor fire pit and the built in cup holders are a big plus.

Excellent products and customer service! I purchased two chairs with ottomans and a table for my mom as a Christmas gift. The weather is finally nice and she loves sitting outside in her comfy chairs!
