Hana Sushi

Everything was wonderful. Food was amazing and the portions were very good. The mexican roll and the fried ice cream were the best.

I was having a brutal day and now it’s completely flipped upside down. Arguably the best food I’ve ever eaten. I got a sushi roll, soup and an app. It was all top notch. Ingredients in my shrimp tempura roll tasted extremely fresh, and even though I got take out it was still that good. My new favorite Gainesville restaurant and it’s not even close.

Got the banzai roll and the king lobster roll. Best sushi in town! Was seated at the bar cause the place was packed. Will be back for the banzai roll again and try out their selection of sake too haha

I liked this place the atmosphere was really nice and our service was good as well. I ordered chicken fried rice and the portion size was really good without being too expensive. They have lots of different sushi options here and they also have lunch specials. Last time I went I got pad Thai and it was really good I got the extra spicy though and it still wasn’t that spicy. Our waiter was also very nice and provided excellent service, constantly refilling our waters and our food came out quickly. I think her name is Maddie or Maggie. Also the picture I took here is of the pad Thai after I mixed it up. I was happy that it had a good chicken to noodle ratio.
My boyfriend absolutely loved the “two thumbs up” sushi. I ordered the pad thai again and it did not disappoint. It’s a nice atmosphere in there and our food came out quickly

I’ve been here several times and they never disappoint! The chicken fried rice and oyishi roll are my favorites. They tend to have a long wait, so plan ahead to stall 30-60 minutes.

What a lovely find,
Little place that offers great service ,lovely ambience and the food was delicious.
Lots of parking.
Seating inside ,I also did see an outside patio that you could enjoy when the weathers not so hot.
We sat at the bar the bartender was very helpful with helping us to make the right choices off the sushi menu.
Everything seemed fresh and was displayed nicely.
When I’m back in town it this is a place I will be visiting again.

Sushi is tasty and fresh. My favorite sushi rolls are the Hawaiian roll and the veggie dragon roll. Nigiri sushi is pretty good too. Service is friendly. Sometimes you have to wait a few minutes for a table because it’s busy!! That says a lot… the only thing I don’t like is the ceiling. It needs some remodeling. Also, the server station is a little bit dirty maybe because it’s busy. Overall, I love coming here for sushi. Worth your money!

We visited Hana for a celebratory dinner with a large group. They were unable to accommodate reservations but we were sat in a timely manner and did not have any issues (recommend arriving early 5-6pm if you have a big group). All of the sushi was fresh and delicious and our service was good. I personally had the spicy girl roll and highly recommend this one, very fresh and well balanaced! Everyone else in the group loved their food and we had a great time! They were able to accommodate specific food allergies as well (peanut and dairy). This was my second time visiting Hana and it was just as good this time as the first time, will definitely be back!!

Go to place in Gainesville! Their hibachi is amazing, very yummy food and friendly service. They also have a lunch special until 3pm weekdays. Lunch special includes soup and salad with options of reduced $ hibachi, bento box, 2/3 rolls combo, & more.

This place when you what fresh fish is the spot. Asked the chef for custom chirashi. You won’t be disappointed. Fantastic. The bass and redfish were my favorite.

Less busy than usual. Probably waited 10-15 min for seating. Service was really good. Avocado bomb (should have added jalapeños) and dynamite roll was delicious. I didn’t look into why it’s 4.4 but it’s pretty deserving of five stars. 🤷🏽‍♀ I will definitely come back.

My wife decided she wanted to eat some sushi for Mother’s Day as we were driving home from Titusville and we found Hana Sushi on Google and it seemed to have good reviews. We were very happy we chose Hana Sushi because the food was phenomenal. The sushi was prepared with fresh ingredients and the drinks were great as well. The service was four out five stars but the quality of the food made up for it. We also did not have to wait even though they were semi crowded. Just the right place if you are craving sushi and you are in Gainesville! I totally recommend this establishment.

Went for lunch. Our server was wonderful, ordered the crab Rangoons definitely recommend those and the fried pork dumplings, also had the veggie hibachi lunch and it was more than I could it and tasted delicious, highly recommend the crab avocado balls

LONG waits for seats and for service. But, the food came quickly and soooo yummy! Some of the best sushi options we've had.
And this Jade Buddha mojito is popular for a reason! Thanks, to the customer we spoke to who recommended it!
Also, the octopus fritter, tako yaki, appetizer was incredibly delicious and the shavings were moving like they were alive.

Great find in Gainesville. It’s across from Celebration Point so it’s far enough away from campus that you can probably get a table on a football weekend. They don’t take reservations, but our wait was only 25 minutes. The food was worth the wait. Delicious fresh sushi. Everything we ordered was very good. Service was friendly, but it’s busy so be realistic. If you’re looking for good sushi in Gainesville…. This is the best.

I ordered takeout through their website. The food was ready on time and absolutely delicious. The eel avocado and spicy tuna were fresh and tasty. Their lunch special is a fantastic price, less than $15 including taxes for two rolls, salad with ginger dressing, and soup.

Will I be back? Yes I will, next time I am in town

I came in a little late right at 9 and am used to getting the cold shoulder by employees when coming in that late. And at first I assumed that would happen here as well. But once I met my server I was pleasantly surprised that they were so nice to me. Their name was Alex and I couldn’t recommend them more! The rolls I had were phenomenal and I recommend them all: the Hawaiian roll, Magic roll, Paradise roll, and the tokoyaki. All came out fresh and fast and was decently priced. Would come again and look forward to another great meal! Thank you

My wife and I went here for Valentine's Day. It was extremely busy, and we sat at the bar. The service was great as busy as it was. Our server was very attentive and gave great suggestions on food choices.
The fried oyster appetizer was great. The sushi was fresh and tasty.

Food was delicious! Gets a little crowded and can be cleaned a little more. My dishes had chips all over them. (See photos)

This place is delicious and the presentation is on point. The chicken is a little chewy. Pad thai chicken and hibachi chicken.
