Oh my gosh we LOVED this place. My wife and I tried this place for the first time yesterday, and we were completely blown away by how great it was! The spring rolls were awesome. My wife loves sushi but she got a noodle bowl instead and she was in heaven. The amount of food they give you for the price is unreal. We are still eating on the leftovers. Note: the food tastes even better the next day.
We will DEFINITELY come back and we want to try different dishes.
So, I just want to say, I don't remember our waitress's name, but she was a young, tall, skinny red head and absolutely friendly and adorable. She helped make my wife and I have such a wonderful date night.

i eat here almost every day! i either get the F2 or the vietnamese fried rice. either way, food is always great! service is pretty good too (very kind servers).

The food here is phenomenal, and the staff is always friendly. First of all, shout out to the guys who man the sushi bar, they have amazing skill and you can tell they take pride in their work. Every time I order a different roll I am left speechless at what they bring to the table, sometimes I don't even want to eat the art they create! Definitely love their food and all of their variety when it comes to alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks (please excuse the bad pictures, I'm not the best photographer).

A excellent menu and tons of selection to choose from. The taste Ramon with shrimp, the tuna sampler are top notch

Wow, new favorite spot! My wife and I recently moved to Gainesville area and decided to get some Togo food here a few nights ago. The chicken bites sushi bowl was so good, we decided we would go back Saturday evening for early mother's day. We sat outside and had the sweetest, most attentive server (I wish I could remember his name but he is actually moving to south west FL then going to Vietnam). I'm sad we won't have him as a server again! So service, 5 stars. Now...the food! We got the short rib appetizer and it was incredible! I also got one of the side soups (similar to pho) and it was pretty good. Would have been better with some chili oil, lime and hoisin but that's ok, I'll just have to come back and try a big bowl of pho. My wife got 2 sushi rolls and crab rangoons and said she loved all of it. My main dish was...well another chicken bites sushi bowl. I guess you can say we are hooked and will absolutely be back! The inside and outside atmosphere are great so you cant really be disappointed. Give this place a try, you'll love it!

Service is always excellent during the weekend. Sushi is amazing and the best in town for the quality and the price. The Vietnamese fried rice with chashu pork is also my favorite kitchen dish. I always come here and you can tell the staff is hard at work.

We really enjoyed our lunch at Taste. My wife and I were looking for something a little different and decided to stop in at Taste after a doctor's appointment. I had the Pad Thai and she had the Ramen. We should have ordered one dish because the portions were HUGE!
The service was excellent and pleasant 👍. We will definitely be going back again.

Both the food and service at Taste were great. Our server (Khi) definitely made the experience more enjoyable. His recommendations were on point and demeanor top notch!

This is, in my opinion, the best Vietnamese restaurant in Gainesville, and yes, I have eaten at them all. The vermicelli noodle bowl has become a favorite to me and theirs is on point! I ordered mine with extra pork, fish sauce and additional spring rolls. The pork was amazing! It was grilled with some of those crispy edges that are my favorite. The noodles were hot and veggies were fresh. The spring rolls were tasty but a bit greasy which was easily overlooked because of the greatness of the bowl overall. The service was friendly and prompt! I throughly enjoyed my lunch and will be back! The bowl was very appealing to the eye but I started eating before I took a picture.

Best waiter ever! My table was treated to a five-star service!

I ordered the vegan tempura eggplant, vegan pho, and a vegan sushi roll. Loved them!

Sushi is always straight BUSSIN, I love that most of the dishes are modifiable. The owners are very nice and the staff is equally amazing! Best restaurant in town for Pho hands down.

Another amazing little spot in Gainesville that packs a monumental flavor kick to your mouth. This place puts both Japanese and Vietnamese cuisine in one tiny place ... And this absolutely works!! Appetizers are great as well as their main dishes. Large portions and great ambiance and even better wait staff. .. you can't go wrong eating in a place like this. It may be a little pricey, but as the name implies, every dish I have had there has been very tasty. Sushi, curry, pho, noodles. All very good.
Personal favorite is the drunken noodles. My wife love the yellow curry. But we mostly get sushi.

Great food- everything we ordered was on point. The Ramen bowls and sushi rolls were simply some of the best we’ve ever had. Service was good, server was super polite and courteous!

I haven't tried the Vietnamese yet but the Japanese food both cooked and sushi was literally the best I've ever had and I've been eating it for 40 yrs. Service is great, a cozy ambiance if you're on a date.

Really great food, a nice atmosphere, and good service. I had the drunken noodles and it's really good. It has juuuuuuust the right amount of heat for someone who does not enjoy spicy food. Only downside is that the beef protein is a little extra (chicken and pork are their standard proteins) but other than that I quite enjoyed Taste.

Very Authentic Vietnamese Dishes or Vietnamese Influenced Dishes. Exactly how My Vietnamese Mother Makes It. Incredible Food. I Would Eat There More Often But Prices Everywhere Is Getting High. I Usually Eat There When My Mother Is Mad At Me.
