Oakhurst Grill & Whiskey 41 Lounge

Very good quality food! Good portions and great taste. Service was very good, and the atmosphere is great with good lighting and vibes. Overall I recommend this place. Do keep in mind that this places is a bit pricey, it’s probably worth it for 1 time.

I had the mushroom raviolis in the vodka cream sauce and cup of clam chowder. It was so good.

Had been told their clam chowder was famous and it should be. Creamy with lots of pieces of clamps in it.

Wonderful service and atmosphere!

Josh and Cody are just wonderful very attentive and courteous. They constantly coming to our table to check on us and refill our drinks!

Seared Ahi was so good that we have to order a second plate to get enough of it!

The pork schnitzel and the Cioppino are just out of this world. It is heaven when you dipping the bread into Cioppino sauce! So satisfying!

If you are thinking of visiting Yosemite sometime soon, this is the restaurant that you must to have a meal or two!

Please Read All: My now fiancé and I came here over 2 years ago and had an amazing experience. Honestly with how great everything was we were scared to return after such a long time, we were afraid it wouldn't be as good as we remembered, however now I can honestly say that If you live within 3 hours of here or EVER go to Yosemite, Oakhurst Grill NEEDS to be your first restaurant stop. This is the best restaurant I've been to in all of California. Cody also gave my fiance and I the best service we've ever experienced. Anything you order will be phenomenal. We plan on coming back to try and work our way through the menu.

Was in oakhurst for 2 nights and had the 12oz rib eye on both nights. Absolutely amazing and cooked to perfection. Even better with the blue cheese crumble on top. Definitely worth it👌

Amazing food and drinks. New York steak with the mashed potatoes. Cooked to my liking, nicely seasoned, and tender. Every bite was full of flavor. Mashed potatoes were creamy, lightly salted, with a sort of marsala flavor. Wild mushroom agnolotti also fenominal. Al dente, and the Parma Rosa sauce was rich and creamy. Dessert was the creme Brule, sweet and smooth with the hardened caramelized sugar. Black raspberry drink was pretty smooth.

Friends recommended we try the food here. The steak bite appetizer was melt in your mouth deliciousness. The pork schnitzel I’d ordered with the sauce on the side & I was glad I did as the sauce just was not to my liking but the pork was very good. Husband had fish & chips & he really enjoyed it.

Staff and atmosphere were superb, really enjoyed being here as a British tourist. Good choice of beers and whiskeys, food was good quality and a good range of variety. Great wings.

A very enjoyable and delicious restaurant during my trip.The food tastes good and the ingredients are fresh. I'm especially grateful for the servers' friendly response. It's close to the hotel, so you can walk, and the atmosphere is very nice, which made the trip more enjoyable.

Food was delicious. Recommend the clam chowder in a bread bowl. The meat is also good. Nice place to chill and have a relaxing time. Recommend!

Food was wonderful, the cost was reasonable. Service was good. We were sitting by the kitchen , guy cleaning tables was so noisy stacking plates , banging , throwing silverware. Our server saw our discomfort and moved us to another table. View was nice. Picture on the wall painted by the owner were beautiful. We would go again .

I don’t usually write reviews-especially for restaurants, but our experience was SO GREAT that I had to share. We stopped in for a well deserved meal after a long day hiking in Yosemite. Our server was Josh and he was absolutely incredible! He ran that lounge with numerous tables seamlessly and gave such personalized service to us and to all of his tables. We felt like family-really cared for. The food was delicious and came quickly. I HIGHLY recommend the carrot cake when it’s offered as a special!

I got a Shrimp Alfredo and is was good I rate 8/10 ! I got an appetizer of Hawaiian Kabobs max it was literally delicious I rate 9.5/10 ! Workers are nice, friendly, it’s nice and warm inside for the winter season. ❤

Outstanding restaurant with great food and awesome service! We were staying at the adjoining Best Western for two nights near Yosemite and so had the good fortune of enjoying several great meals at the Oakhurst Grill.

On our first night we arrived fairly near to their 9:30 closing time due to a long drive from Sequioa National Park but we still got great, unrushed service. They sat us outside on the balcony away from everyone else since we had my sister's little dog along but our server Josh was attentive and speedy nonetheless. The massive Double Best Western burger I had was stupendously flavorful and of course very filling after a long day driving while my family enjoyed their bread bowl and salmon skillets as well. The second night was a Monday and the restaurant was surprisingly absolutely packed so we had to wait a few minutes to be seated. We happened to get Josh again and despite the huge dinner crowd the service was just as excellent. This time I got to enjoy their awesome 10 ounce sirloin while my niece loved her pretzel and beer butter appetizer. Josh even had time to bring our little Zoey a doggie bowl with some water to make sure she wasn't thirsty. The prices also seemed quite reasonable especially given how Oakhurst is a tourist town that's the nearest to Yosemite's south entrance.

The atmosphere was very cozy and friendly too with charming decor. We totally loved the giant bear statue right in front of the main entrance.

The two mornings we spent at the Best Western treated us to the restaurant's excellent buffet that's exclusive to hotel guests. Copious servings of hot bacon, sausage, eggs, fruit, and potatoes were a great way to start the day together with other choices like oatmeal, cereal, toast, and waffles straight from the two waffle makers. Service was efficient, the food was delicious, and we left very satisfied every morning.

We didn't get to sample lunch since they only open for it Thursday to Sunday but I'm sure it would have been just as excellent based on breakfast and dinner and we certainly wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Oakhurst Grill to anyone coming to the area!

We absolutely loved this restaurant. Don't let the fact that it is in a hotel fool you. It is incredibly good. The service was excellent. We liked it so much that we went back two nights in a row. Every single thing we had was excellent and served quickly and courteously. Can't say enough good things about this place.

Wow, what a great place in a quaint area! For appetizers, we had fried artichoke hearts and coconut shrimp. Main course we had the steak with mashed potatoes and green beans and the Cajun pasta. So good!!! Service was great and so helpful with food suggestions.
