Valero Gas & Chester's Fried Chicken

Always appreciate the top-tier gasoline that Valero offers. Smog tests are always better when a higher grade of gas is used.

I grew up in a town over and have been coming here for years and this is the first time since I've been back in town in 5 years that this place has the atmosphere that it does it's awesome the guys are nice they're very helpful and they help me out with gas when I was broke down!

Went this morning to gas up and got food it was fresh and really good.

My first try with this place and I am pleasantly surprised!! First, to find fired chicken at a gas station/convenience store. And second, to find that it is way better, IMHO than KFC or many of the other fried chicken places that I have tried on both coasts.
I wholeheartedly recommend this store for your fried chicken needs.
By the way the customer service was excellent as well.

Who looks for fried chicken at a gas station? I do from now on. Classic fried chicken cooked fresh and in small batches. My dad would have been excited to see gizzards on the menu. (Not me, thanks). Definitely worth a stop

The gentleman working at 4:50 pm on 8/25 at the oakhurst valero is the funniest best cashier I have encountered here in town. I wish I would have looked athis name tag. I was laughing too hard. He had us laughing so hard that my cheeks hurt by the time we left. He also was very polite and thorough. He made sure to upsell at the register too which I was impressed with. Great experience! Thank you!!! We will definitely be back!!

We had a huge power outage here yesterday and today. The chicken place was open and serving breakfast. They were pumping gas while everyone else was closed. Great store.

I never knew that they had fried chicken. It's cooked fresh everyday. Excellent food and the cook Diana is friendly and helpful.

Not from in town but, gas seemed decently priced and food we got was fresh!

I only place you can still bye fresh cooked chicken gizzards. Call them in, it takes a good ten mins to cook them

Clean bathroom, pleasant staff, delightfully expensive gas... but no worse than anywhere else in California.

Had it fresh, both the tenders and the sandwiches were great.
