A'xin Sushi&Hibachi

Excellent!
Not big on the atmosphere but the staff are really nice, service is great and the food was Incredible.
Tons of parking.
No problem for handicapped customers.
No problem for kids.
The sushi was really, really good - in fact the Tempura Lobster was one of the two best Sushi I have ever eaten.
Both me and my 16 year old were blown away!
Highly recommend.
We will Definitely be back!

Excellent sushi! We are so happy that we found this place! The restaurant is cute, clean and welcoming. It’s not big but even if there’s no seating g there’s always take-out. The sushi is fresh and made to order right at the bar. We had a special roll and the tepen shrimp and steak. It was all amazing! I don’t think we’ll get sushi anywhere else!

My significant other and I frequent A’xin at least twice a week. We loved going to Mahzu before its owners opened up this restaurant in Jonesville. The atmosphere is simple and cozy with food that is consistently delicious each and every time we eat there.

You can catch the owner hand rolling sushi himself for all of his guests. Although Mahzu was not far, we are glad they opened a restaurant right across the street from us.

We went to.eat around 430.pm. the restaurant is very clean. There is enough indoor seating mostly table ls for two, some.for 4 and one.fpr.6. The menu is really full of options and includes hibachi. The prices are.quitw reasonable. The service was excellent, being prompt and friendly. Several returns to the table to refill drinks. The food was fresh, well prepared, and presented well, which was pretty to look at, very appetizing. Our checks were brought promptly after asking if we were finished. The food is really delicious and cooked perfectly according to item. I was very surprised and really happy to eat there. I will.be back and can see this may be my favorite sushi place to go.

I recommend trying Fuji Sushi on a Sunday afternoon. The food is just as delicious, but it is not as crowded. Our service was excellent and our waitress made great recommendations. I had to try the Mt Fuji after a friends recommendation and it did not disappoint. We also tried several other popular rolls and all were fantastic.

It is very light and bright compared to Fuji Sushi. It is very well done. Delicious food, personal preference, I prefer the yum yum a little less sweet. However, there are no complaints about their food. Fish tempura was perfectly excuted. The rice was ultimately the star of the plate: smokey, full flavored, and perfect texture. We had salmon, shrimp, and vegetables; all of them were very well done with deep flavors. 10 out of 10, we will visit again.

Ps. The saké was filled to the brim! I definitely appreciated that courtesy.

I was really disappointed when Fuji Sushi closed, as I loved their food and ate there every week. The first time I walked in after the change, I didn't have a lot of hope for A'Xin, but I was pleasantly surprised. Their sushi ingredients are fresh and top quality, and the service is outstanding. After 3 trips, I now prefer it to Fuji Sushi (something I never would have thought possible).

Wonderful dining experience, the food and service were well above standard. Thunder Roll, Spider Roll, and Crunchy Shrimp roll were works of art almost too beautiful to eat. Everything tasted as good as it looked, and we now have a new favorite restaurant to go to! Thank you Fuji Sushi for a great dinner!

I had the steak and chicken hibachi . The steak was super tender amazing flavor. Highly recommend. The sushi was also very fresh and well presented on the plates.

Been here a few times and the food and service is always phenomenal. Best sushi in the Gainesville area hands down. The gyoza are also fantastic, and they have great premium sakes to choose from. The owner was our server this past visit, and he was a rockstar. He made sure our meal and visit when top notch. We'll definitely be back again soon!

Quiet, unassuming little restaurant with amazing food, fast and friendly service. I had the octopus A la carte apetizer and a delicious lobster roll. My partner had the chicken/steak hibachi and said that the meat was very tender and tasty. His portion was generous, so much so that he felt full just from eating the fried rice that came as a side dish and had to ask for a to-go box for the rest of his meal. We will definitely go back there. I ordered a glass of Moscato with my meal, but I would suggest that the restaurant makes available moscato from the South of Italy. It is not Moscato unless it's made there. Five stars for everything else though.

What a wonderful Sushi place to eat. Food is Fantastic and Gorgeous artwork. A great Birthday Dinner tonight. Love it and Highly recommend this place to anyone that loves Sushi

Service was great and attentive. The rolls I got were delicious. Love the vibe of the new interior so bright and cheerful.

I remember when it used to be Fuji Sushi, it was nice but now, it's beautiful. I love how small and cozy it is but at the same time it has a very refreshing feel to it. The waitstaff were wonderful, the food delicious, and all in all, quickly becoming one of my new favorite places. I highly recommend the takoyaki, crispy on the outside and just absolutely creamy on the inside; delicious! Just be warned, it is made fresh and it's very hot. I learned that the hard way so you don't have to. I will be back time and time again, I want to try the whole menu.

We stumbled on this gem on accident and we're so happy we did! The food is really good! We are from Chicago but moved to Gainesville about a yr ago and it has been such a challenge finding a sushi spot that is even halfway decent. Tbh we almost gave up. Then we found this place. Everything tasted fresh and up to our ridiculously high standards. The customer service was on par too. We were greeted with a smile and a "hello" when we walked in. Tim/Xin was so sweet and attentive, he has a badass sleeve worth checking out as well! We couldn't be more happy. It's a bit of a drive but well worth it! We will be back! Thank you!
