MAUI Teriyaki & Sushi

The food is EXCELLENT!! Teriyaki chicken was fresh, and good size portion for the cost. The sushi was fresh, and tasted amazing!! Also I got 2 rolls for under $12 that I usually get at Bento and are $12 EACH!! I’m obsessed with this place! The customer service was also great and my food was packed very well with all the condiments I requested!!

This is by far one of Gainesvilles absolute GEMS 💎 it is beyond nutritional, and the flavor and taste of the simplistic “Steak & Chicken” bowls. Will completely BLOW your mind!!! I have been coming here for years, and will continue to do so!!! The staff & Management are the very best kinda human beings anyone would ever want to be around or deal with! The quality of the food will surpass your expectations by far! I would recommend the large teriyaki Chicken bowl, or the Large steak Bowl with a side of fried dumplings!!! It’s the closest to heaven you’ll get on a lunch break 🙌 5 Stars all day!

Well, I must say that MAUI teriyaki and Sushi on N.W 75th (Tower road) off Newberry rd in Gainesville, Florida did NOT disappoint. I have been a Maui customer since the mid 90s. I know that the original owners have sold since then, but the flavor and value is still the same. Great food. Perfect portions. That spicy sauce is perfect!!!

I have never had a bad meal here. So far all the dishes I have tried have been a dish I would order again and again. Ross is very helpful and a person who will listen to your needs and what you order. Great place. Lee.

There is only one truly fantastic bowl in Gainesville to be enjoyed with sauce, veggies, and your protein of choice (I recommend the crispy pork). I've been eating here off and on for nearly 22 years, and highly recommend Maui Teriyaki. It's also my wife's favorite quick bite in all of G'ville

Great locally owned restaurant! These folks have reopened Maui Teriyaki and it's better than ever. I really enjoyed the bowl with tuna and salmon! The crab egg roll was a surprise hit. I'll be going regularly.

This place has an amazing chicken bowl. Get one and cover it in their teriyaki sauce. One of the best things to eat in Gainesville easily. Been eating here since 2010, and the quality of the food hasn't declined one bit. It's still as good as the first day I visited the restaurant.

This place is amazing! The owners are super friendly and the service is great. The food is high quality and fresh. My dad used to come here back in college in the 80's and its still the best spot 40 years later. If i could give 10 stars i would.

Amazing service, best sushi rice in town. All our rolls were simple and delicious. I cannot wait to come back and try the rest of the menu. My two young kids liked the teriyaki chicken roll. The prices can not be beat. This was our first time in and we will drive a few extra miles just to return. Appears to be family owned and ran. Don't miss your chance to try this place out!

I've had a large sampling of this menu from this place catering an event that I attend regularly. Some people just know how to make normal things taste amazing. Chicken skewers are simple and perfect. The Maui burger is my favorite burger of all time. So simple yet perfect texture and proportions make it just amazing. All of Nikita's soups are ridiculous.

No other place like it. Amazing teriyaki chicken bowls with some rice and veggies at a great price. We were very excited to see they hadn’t closed down but rather just moved!

Met the owner the day I stopped by and he was SO NICE! Good clean place. Amazing portions. Y’all gotta check it out!! Easy to manage carbs here too. Just say no rice, extra veggies.

Talk about sequel to a good movie. I've worked here years ago and the food was good then and its just as good now. Plus more. And Nakita and Ross' dedication to the brand is awesome. I recommend coming here.
