Ocean Grill

A classic favorite of mine is the clam chowder I definitely recommend trying it. To my surprise I really enjoyed the fish tacos the where absolutely delicious and the view is beautiful the wait was around 30 minutes for a table but it was definitely worth it. I plan on stopping by again next time I’m in the area.

Only restaurant with a open view of the ocean here in Avila. Finally real food. Tastes of garlic, shallot and fresh herbs. Perfect American style seafood, pasta and steak. Came just in time to watch the sunset.

We enjoyed a delicious meal of moist, fresh crab cakes and the most delicious burger!! 🍔 The meat was tender and cooked to perfection, with crisp vegetables and the most tasty house dressing. We loved the friendly environment and how welcome dogs were there. The view of the beach is incredible from the front of the restaurant. I highly recommend you check them out next time you visit Avila!

very good service, staff is attentive and friendly. food is super flavorful, and pasta/oven baked pizza is handmade. worth the price, highly recommend.

Great views, great staff, and excellent food. I had brick oven pizza and salad, both were superb. The atmosphere is beach casual and it is fun to sit and watch the people walk by and the ocean waves crash to shore from just across the street. Recommended.

Great service and food was exceptional! The diver scallops and pork belly are fabulous and a MUST HAVE! The mussels were flavorful and remember to ask for more bread to soak up the broth.

Food was delicious and service was great. The appetizer with brussels sprouts (crispy brussels sprouts) was far above our expectations and so were my wife's salad and my ribeye steak. The food did not have excessive salt or oils/fat, just as we like it.

Great little spot in Avila Beach for lunch. Both the food and the service were great! It’s right on the water and there are some great views of the ocean on the patio.

We were just there Saturday, brought our local bottle of wine to enjoy with delicious steamed clams, Caesar salad w a small side of perfectly grilled salmon.

Fabulous restaurant! Amazing sunset and ocean views! The service was 5 star and the salmon piccata and Mahi tacos were sooooo delicious! Highly recommend!!

Surrounded by a majestic view of Avila beach and bay. It's a little higher up from the other restaurants which provides a better view. The host was very pleasant and we were served water without having to ask. Waiter was very nice and helpful. Food is DELICIOUS!

Super cute restaurant! Went with my mom, Monica was our server and she was amazing! Will definitely be coming again. (P.S. Get the butternut squash ravioli!)

We were a group of 6 and enjoyed our lunch at the ocean grill.
The placed was fully booked and so we had to wait 30 min to get a table. You will find worse places to wait 🙃
The waitress was friendly and we got our drinks and food very fast. We had Fish&Chips, Burger, Pizza and Salat. Everyone was more than happy!

I went there for the first time last week. Great spot! Service was great and the food was yummy and fresh.

Great service, came to dinner last night with my friends and had Nick as our server, I had the seafood stew with pasta and I loved it. I will for sure come back to try the other options

Awesome place! You can go nicer for dinner or right off the beach for lunch and not feel weird which is cool. Amazing regular, GF and Vegan options!! Beautiful location and lots of window/water views. Service was spot on and fast. Quaint place in a cute town. Definitely recommend!!! (Photo was a view from our corner window table)

Ocean Grill has been one of my go to places pre pandemic. It is still good and they take care in separating tables well.

The location is beautiful, we sat at the bar, we were immediately were Greeted & served. The food Is delicious & very generous portions. We took Chefs advise, oysters so fresh & yummy. Shucked right in front of us. Pork belly appetizer was so tender & delicious. On the second night… the salmon was perfect & Plenty, the Rib eye so tender, flavourful & literally melts in your mouth. Great staff, they all ( there’s a lot) flow together so we’ll making the environment so fun & friendly. Can’t wait to return here Our next visit to the Central Coast.
